No one questions why Fresh is the only parasite they know.
But why?
It's awfully impractical for him to be the only one of his kind.
How did he come to be?
Surely there are more like him.
And it turns out, there are.
But Fresh is extremely territorial, killing any other parasites that come into what he calls his 'domain'.
And unfortunately for them, that's most of the multiverse.
There is one AU that he never enters, however.
...Well, technically two. But we don't talk about UnderLust.
There is a universe on the far edges of the multiverse.
And there, the other parasites have learned to live with each other. Perhaps not in perfect harmony, but they're not constantly killing each other.
Every few years, the parasites-including Fresh-undergo changes in their bodies.
Welcome to parasite mating season.
You better start running, because Fresh gets angry easily during these few weeks.
And we all know that an angry Fresh is a very dangerous Fresh.
