I fell asleep after an hour or so laying in the dark. I wake up to rays of sunlight peering through the hospital room window. My mom is sitting at the edge of the bed. "oh honey, im so sorry!" She says as she gets up to hug me. For some reason, i start to cry. The soft embrace of my mom's hug was enough to send it over the edge. A week goes by as i lye in the hospital. Once im out, i go right back to school, already upset to have missed so much. I cant do any physical training yet, so i stick to studying under Present.Mic and Midnight. I got caught up in my classes, but was still behind in my hero training.
A month goes by.
I wake up, feeling energized and ready to start my hero training again! We get to the school, all ramped up for our first day with me back. We got to the front gate.
Police tape.
"What happened?" Says a bystander in the croud. "I heard some villains managed to get past the gate, and they said a pro hero was killed!" Another replies. Our entire class stands in disbelief. Before we know it we get swarmed by press, then even faster by sensei and midnight.
