*The little girl looks over at her. Ryan looks to Nick, Russell, and Greg. She take the child out of the van.*
Child- "Do you know where my mommy is?"
Ryan- "No sweetie I don't but we're looking for her. What's your name?"
Child- "Avery."
Ryan- "Avery, my names Ryan. I'm gonna do everything I can to help find your mommy okay?."
*Avery nods*
*Greg walks over to Ryan*
Greg- "Take her inside, buy her something, just stay with her."
Ryan- "Why me? Why can we get a professional?"
Greg- "Because it's almost Christmas, everyone's on vacation."
Ryan- "Fine."
*She takes her inside*
*Avery looks at a toy penguin*
Ryan- "That's a cute penguin."
Avery- "Mommy said I couldn't get it."
Ryan- "Was your mommy mad or upset when you where shopping."
Avery- "No she was tired, she was at work all day, and her boss is a meanie."
Ryan- "Is that what your mommy says?"
Avery- "She says big words that I'm not aloud to say."
Ryan- "Avery, how old are you?"
Avery- "4."
*she holds up 4 fingers*
Ryan- "4?! Wow. That's super cool. Can I ask you another question?"
*Avery nods*
Ryan- "Did your mommy start the car
on before the man took her?"
Avery- "No, the man did."
Ryan- "Did you see if he was wearing gloves?"
Avery- "I don't know."
*she shrugs*
Ryan- "I need to go outside for one minute okay."
Avery- "Can I come?"
Ryan- "Yeah."
*Ryan carries her outside*
Ryan to Greg- "That van needs to go back to the lab and the drivers side needs to be dusted for prints."
*Greg nods*
Greg- "I see you've made a new friend."
Ryan- "Yes. I did."
*Ryan begins walking back inside with Avery.*
Ryan- "Ooh, and can you take her car seat out of the van and put it in my car, I'll take her down to the station in a bit."
*Greg nods and they both walk separate ways*
Avery- "Can I colour?"
Ryan- "Of corse."
*Ryan walks over to the colouring books with Avery.*
Ryan- "Which one?"
*Avery points to one and Ryan takes it and crayons off the shelf. Avery goes and colours. She smiles at Ryan and Ryan smiles back.*
Store clerk- "You are gonna pay for that right?"
*She nods*
*Ryan picks up the penguin Avery was looking at earlier.*
