sabrinacarpenter Good Cry is something I never knew I was making until it was done. All I knew over the last few months is that I wanted to make music that makes me feel the way I felt when I was writing the words on paper. Anger, sadness, anxious , loneliness and just overwhelmingly emotional. I just went into it without thinking about what it was or what it sounded like or if it was something I actually wanted to share. I was terrified but I wanted to put it out into the world ready for people to find it should they need to hear it. It's vulnerable and emotional from start to finish and honestly? I'm glad. I'm proud. I'm happy. You know that feeling when you've dried your tears and stopped crying and just feel better? Like you're heart and head has just been refreshed and emptied of all the heavy dead weight? That's me right now. Going into 2019, I'm accepting of myself, of my heart. I've cleared the confusion from my mind and I'm starting the year with love. Thank you for hearing me, singing with me and crying with me. I love you forever. ✨💜
