eight.

the next day.

nayeon wakes up at a usual time. she rubs her eyes as she sees beside her. “she is not here yet?” she mumbles, ruffling her hair.

she grabs her phone and looks at the notification, thinking jeongyeon mightvreply to her texts last night. but still no response.

“ugh, i think i should go to her company.” she says, standing up and heads to the bathroom.

ten minutes later after she finishes showering, she wraps herself with a towel and walks out of the bathroom. she goes to her closet, with many expensive dresses and clothes in it. well mostly jeongyeon buy this for her.

she wears a blue shirt with long sleeve and white skirt. she then brushes her hair, while looking herself in the mirror. she also do a simple make up to herself.

after she finishes with everything, she takes her white gucci shoes and put it on.

she grabs her phone along with her car key. she heads out of her room, walking to the front door. she unlocks it and walks to the garage to her car.

she unlocks her car and goes inside. then she starts the engine and drives off to jeongyeon's company.

while she is driving, she feels her phone vibrating so she quickly take it, thinking its probably jeongyeon who calls her. she looks at the caller id and its eunwoo not jeongyeon. she sighs as she looks back at the road.

“yes babe?” nayeon picks up the call.

“where are you? im im front of your house.”

“um babe, i think i can't meet up with you today im sorry.”

“oh its fine. but why though?”

“i need to meet up with my wife at her company.”

“oh alright. see you tomorrow i guess?”

“yeah see you tomorrow. bye i love you.”

“love you too baby.”

nayeon walks inside the company after she parks her car. the people who works in the company start to bows to nayeon, knowing its their ceo's wife.

nayeon bows to them back as she smiles a bit. she goes to the elevator and taps the 9th floor, which is where jeongyeon's office  is.

she walks towards jeongyeon's office when the elevator stops. “um ma'am, mrs. yoo isn't in her office.” minyoung, jeongyeon's secretary says when nayeon is about to opens the door.

“really? where is she going.” nayeon asks to herself, sighs deeply and looks down.

“may i ask why she's not at work today?” minyoung asks, curiously.

“well honestly i dont know either, she wasn't home since last night. when i call her she didn't pick it up.” nayeon responds, with a sad tone can be heard in her voice.

“oh..” minyoung nods her head slowly, while thinking. “the last time i saw her, she left with sana.” she adds, widens her eyes.

“i know about that already. seulgi told me.” nayeon replies, with no facial expressions on her face, but deep inside she actually feels sad.

“ma'am, how about you just call sana? and ask her where mrs. yoo is?” minyoung says, getting the idea so quickly.

“but i don't have her phone number.” nayeon says.

“i have her phone number.” minyoung smiles. nayeon widens her eyes and immediately holds minyoung's shoulder as she shakes it.

“give it to me now!” nayeon shouts a bit while minyoung nods, chuckling.

nayeon removes her hands and takes her phone. “okay what's her phone number?” she asks.

minyoung quickly takes out her phone from her pocket. she turns it on and presses contact to search for sana's contact. after she finds it, she tells the number to nayeon one by one. nayeon then calls sana after she saves sana's contact.

“hello, who is this?”

“ah, this is jeongyeon's wife. you're with her right? can you please give your phone to jeongyeon, so that i can talk to—”

“sorry, i g—gotta go.”

“hey! no—”

“she hung up!!” nayeon shouts, getting angry a bit.

“oh, someone call me.” sana says, while she's watching tv with jeongyeon.

sana presses speaker so that she doesn't need to put it again on her ear. “hello who is this?” sana asks as she watches the tv.

“ah, this is jeongyeon's wife. you're with her right? can you please give your phone to jeongyeon, so that i can talk to—”

sana sees jeongyeon signaling her to hang up so she does. “sorry, g—gotta go.”

“how did she got my number.” sana says to herself then turns off her phone.

“its either seulgi or my secretary.” jeongyeon replies, ruffling her hair.

“oh..” sana just nod. “anyways, you aren't going to work today? what if the ceo scolds you?” she asks worriedly.

“sana, what are you talking about? its my company and im the ceo. i can go to work whenever i want..” jeongyeon responds, laughing slightly.

sana just realize it and she smacks her head. “ah yeah i forgot. sorry im dumb.” sana chuckles and jeongyeon just smile a bit.

“um jeongyeon, i want to say something.”

“what is it?”

“im s—sorry for what i did 3 years ago. i said this because i forgot to say sorry to you.” sana stutters nervously, not looking at jeongyeon.

“oh.” she nods. “why are you bringing up this topic. it's fine. that happened like 3 years ago and i dont really care about it anymore. so it's totally fine.” she smiles a bit, patting sana's back.

sana just stay silent.

“hope we can get more closer to each other and lets just forget about the past.” she takes out her hand for a handshake.

‘but i still love you jeongyeon..’ sana takes out her hand, handshaking with jeongyeon.

“i hope so too.” sana smiles, she feels like she wants to cry.

‘how am i supposed to move on from you jeongyeon?’
