Part-2 New People

The bell rang warning the onset of first period.
"It will be okay. I am stronger than this." Cristina told herself this over a hundred times but it still was not doing anything. Her father's death had done a number on her. And she was with him when he died was not helping either. She wiped her tears and ran towards the door of the girl's washroom. She bumped into a girl who was walking with Derek. The girl was new as cristina did not recognise her. She scrowled. "Derek, new girl." She said and stared them down. "Cristina, this is Meredith." Derek pointed towards the girl beside him. The girl waved. "Does it look like that I care?" And with this she started walking away. "English Class is this way, Yang." Derek said with a smirk on his face. "How do you know i have english for 1st period?" Cristina said while backing back towards them. "I have my sources. Now walk with us." The girl looked decent enough. What was she doing with Derek Shepherd?
As they were walking towards class, they ran into O'Malley, Callie and Arizona (they should seriously get a room) April and Jackson. Turns out they all had the 1st class together. They all walked into the class and took their seats. Meredith sat with Derek, Izzie was sitting with Alex as usual, Callie and Arizona were no doubt sitting together as well, O'Malley sat with Burke and Cristina saw just one seat with was empty. It was with Owen. He was such a nice guy but he and Teddy always stayed together. Teddy was nowhere to be seen today. She took a seat with him and Mrs. Singh started the lesson.
Owen was surprised when Cristina Yang sat with him. She never sat with anyone except sometimes Alex. Or maybe she just sat with him cause there was no other seat available. "Would you stop?" Cristina said and took him by surprise. He didn't realize that he had been staring at her for too long. "I'm sorry." Owen straightened up and stared at his books. Cristina smiled.
"You know I love you, right?" Callie said to Arizona. Arizona who was making notes said, "I know, i love you too. Now straighten up or Mrs. Singh will have your head." Callie sat up straight, "You are soo amazing. You are like the perfect person." Callie said while stroking Arizona's thigh. "Callie! Are you high or something?" "Maybe.." Callie said teasingly. "Oh god! Just hold on for a few minutes and i will take you back home. Tell the nurse you are on your period or somethin." Arizona said and sighed.
