Kai woke up surrounded by darkness. Holding his head trying to recover from his hazy state. Finally feeling like himself he got to his feet and slowly looked around finding nothing but more darkness.
“Where am I now? Last thing I remember was fighting that weird person and then….”
He trailed off from his sentence as he tried to remember but couldn’t. Giving up on the matter he began walking with no idea where he would arrive to. His footsteps echoed as he walked so he made the assumption that he wasn’t outside. After what seemed like hours he saw a faint light breaking through the darkness.
“What is that?” He thought to himself.
Hesitating he began walking towards the light slowly. As he got closer the light got brighter which made him shield his eyes. Hearing screams of fright he slowly opened his eyes to find himself in a burning building. He heard the screams again and look to his right to see two small boys and a young lady surrounded in flames.
“Don’t worry. Here I come!” He shouted out to comfort them
He rushed towards them and managed to get to a railing above them. He reached his arm out towards the group.
“Grab my hand!” He cried to them
What grabbed him wasn’t a human arm but a red hand with long nails. The touch of it on his skin felt like it was burning through his skin.
“Gah!”
“Join us in this hell boy.” Said the woman in a raspy dark voice.
Kai’s eyes widen as he saw a hoard of soulless faces looking at him. Their screams howled throughout the flames and echo through his head. Not being able to take it anymore he fell over the railing to free fall through the ocean of lost souls. He shut his eyes trying to block out the wails and the moaning. Snapping open his eyes he found himself in a hospital room and the smell of smoke oddly swayed in the air. He slowly sat up only to clench to his side as his body radiated in pain.
“I wouldn’t advise moving boy.” Stated an angry female voice.
He looked to his side to see a young female sitting next to him with a cigarette between her fingers and blowing smoke. Her hair is long and black which stayed out the way of her brown eyes. She wore a pink hoodie with blue pants.
“Sky? What are you doing here?” He asked confused
“I would like to ask the same question. Mom got a call from the hospital about how you was in here looking pretty bang up. Almost gave mom a heart attack so I came in her place.” She explained before taking another smoke puff.
Kai sighed and rub his neck softly not knowing what to say to that. Sky gave kai a side glare and sighed also before getting up.
“I’m going home to get ready for work. Look kai I’m not telling you what you should do with your life. But I think you should give up on your delinquent actions before you put yourself in a hole.” She said before walking away. He sat in the bed deep in thought for about 20 mintues. Finally getting a clear idea he crawled out of bed and undressed getting back into his street clothes.
"And where do you think your going boy?" Asked a sudden voice
In the middle of kai putting on his jacket a female nurse caught him in the act of trying to run away out of a building of sickness.
"Somewhere that i can rest without worrying about someone coughing in my food." He joked as he began to walk pass her.
She grab his arm and stop him in his tracks. Kai face twitched up since his body wasnt fully recovered yet. The nurse seductively licked her lips and hissed in kai's ear. His eyes widen as he felt his very soul shake from the touch of her cold skin.
"Running away wont help you boy." She hissed. "No matter where you run they will find you."
Not wanting to hear more he used all his strength to get out of her iron grip and sprinted off towards the door. Once getting outside he turned a corner and bump into another person hard making them fall over. He was about to snap at the person but stop as he looked at the person.
"Morgan?! What are you doing here?" He asked confused to see his girlfriend.
Not paying much attention to his question she would just rub her butt due to falling on it hard. Her hair is long and black. Red glasses rested on her face that cover her green eyes which was now closed. She wore a white and black open sweater with a white one direction shirt over some black leggings and black shoes. Kai's face twisted up as he saw the shirt but ignored it to help her up.
"Hello? Earth to morgan." He snapped his fingers.
"Huh?" She manage to finally say.
"What are you doing here so early in the morning?" He asked again.
She sighed hard and looked at him with a serious look.
"I went to your house earier today and it was ransack. I couldnt find anyone." She said worried
Kai's eyes widen u at hearing these news.
"Their what?!"
