You you were cheating on Ace. You were certain the boy didn't know. You woke up in the middle of the night, your shared bedroom door open. You walked out, and saw Ace sitting on the fire escape of your shared apartment. He had his head on his knees, and you could hear quiet sobs coming from him. You noticed his phone on the kitchen table, and noticed his friend had messaged him. You opened the message, knowing his passcode, and found his friend had messaged him a photo of you and the guy you were cheating on Ace with. He had obviously seen it. Then you realized it was pouring down with rain.

You and Ace were watching a movie, as best friends and roommates do. Once the movie was finished, you noticed Ace was asleep. He was clutching your shirt, and not letting go.
