The wind was cold as it nipped against my bare knuckles. I swing my flashlight around quickly, looking. I heard about this SlenderMan, I don't believe in him myself. People had told me not to look for him, I didn't listen. I wanted to prove to them he isn't real, so here I am.

I walk slowly though the forest, I can't help feeling afraid, The SlenderMan isn't real but what other dangers could be in the forest?

The forest is silent apart from my rapid breath my fast footsteps and the occasional animals running around.

I slow my pace as I spot something on a tree, I walk closer to the tree and I see its a note. I pick up the note and read aloud.

" Don't look or it takes you."

I laugh lightly to myself, probably just someone trying to scare me. I fold the note roughly and shove it in my pocket. I keep on walking.

I feel eyes on me, I turn around nothing. I can't help feel that I'm bring watched. I turn around quickly shining my flashlight at a large rock.

On this large rock was another note. I pulled it away from the tree. I read the notice aloud again.

" Help me!"

Help me, was all it said. Scribbled in scruffy hand writing. Just another joke I think. I again crumple up the note and stuff it in my pocket with the other note.

I hear the faint sounds the footsteps. I grab my flashlight, Not going to turn around. I know it's nothing.

I can't take it anymore, The foot steps sound like thunder from behind. I slowly turn. Standing there was a man, he had no face, wearing a black suit with a black tie. He was extremely thin and had the longest arms I'd ever seen. His face thin and boney, you could just make out the nose bones.

"slenderMan..." I whisper to myself. No this isn't real. Someone is just pranking me.

"haha, very funny..." I call out, uneasily.

"I know it's a joke... Guys."

No answer. I stare at the "SlenderMan"

He didn't move. Neither did I .

I remembered someone telling me, if you turn off your flashlight, he can't see you.

With a little click, the flashlight goes off.

I stand my ground for a moment, I hear a footstep, I sprint towards the direction I left my car in.

I believe In The SlenderMan now.

Out of no where, he appears right in front off me. A short scream escapes my lips as his long spindly tentacles, wrap tightly around my waist.

I don't remember anything that. Just the pain. The pain of his thin, rough tentacle, drag its self down my throat. I can't breath, I can't say anything. Can't scream. Can't cry.

I feel something cold, wrap its self around my heart. I don't know how I'm still alive, but I am. I wish I wasn't.

The cold tentacle pulls my heat, pulling it away from my organs.

Pain shoots all through me, never have I felt so much pain. It just stopped, everything is dark now. I can't see or hear anything. I am dead.

The SlenderMan had taken me..
