While at Shiketsu, Ichiro did not live in the dorms. Coming to UA is the first time he's lived away from his family. He's always been used to sharing with one of his brothers, so for a start he didn't realise he would get a room to himself, and only decorated half of his dorm room, until someone told him he had the room to himself.
