(Exposition)
Long ago, the world of Remnant was vacant of all life. Then, from the dust, came Mankind. After they arose, creatures of Grimm came to snuff out the darkness, but man learned to harness the power of a magical crystal called Dust. Huntsmen and Huntress became a thing. And yet, even as light strengthens, so does darkness. It is common knowledge at this point in time that the Grimm have a mistress named Salem, who does not age, and can turn people into monsters. With her, are her six huntresses, and since then, they have been cutting a swath through humanity and have conquered a large portion of Remnant, seeking world domination. Only the huntsmen trained in the four academies and the White Fang dare to stand against her, as Salem sits atop a throne in the lost lands, watching as humanity is snuffed out like a candle flame. Only one family has the power to stop her now, and she intends to use her huntresses to remove them from power. A man known as Sparda, who betrayed her along with her first love so many years ago, is a man of unknown power. He has a family, and Salem wants them dead, but the mere presence of Sparda nullifies her control over Grimm. So, she intends to destroy everything he loves instead.
(Story Start)
Dante: Come on guys, let's get going!
Nero: Alright, alright, calm down! We're moving!
Vergil: Not like we're going to be late anytime soon.
(Y/n): *sigh* Can you guys not argue for five minutes?
As the four brothers walked off the bullhead, they began to head to the auditorium.
Dante: [So this is Beacon. Smaller than I thought it would be.]
Vergil: [This had better not be a waste of time.]
Nero: [Holy shit there's a lot of people here.]
(Y/n): [And so it begins. The beginning of the end. Welcome to Beacon.]
Nero: Holy crap, look at some of these people. They seem really on top of things.
Vergil: Most of these people have been trained in schools for the past few years of their lives to believe it is their duty to defend the world as huntsmen. Of course they would take it seriously.
Dante: Eh, they still probably can't hold a candle to us.
(Y/n): Overconfidence is a flimsy shield, Dante.
Dante: And who said that quote?
(Y/n): Me. Just now. Weren't you paying attention? Also a monk I heard saying it a while back.
Vergil: The amount of knowledge you just pick up is astounding sometimes.
Nero: 's not even the first time he said it.
(Y/n): That's true.
Dante: Whatever, let's just get to this stupid welcoming assembly and get this over with.
As the brothers continued walking, a pair of birds left a lamp post and perched into a tree before shifting into humans.
Raven: These four? You're serious?
