Short Story lang po ito, actually assignment lang sana to sa english kaya lang nagandahan ako sa sinulat ko kaya pinublish ko...hahaha confident sa sarili xD

It was 10:00 p.m in the evening, when my mother knocked on my room
" Tommorow we will talk, and don't even try to run away!" said my mother
I was very sleepy at that time and didn't even bother to ask why, so I just nodded as an answer. I woke up 6:00 a.m in the morning, I ate my breakfast, took a shower and get ready for school.
Oh! by the way i'm Janica Buhain 16 years old studying in a famous University in Manila. My friends say I'm smart, kind and beautiful, all in one, but I don't believe such things. I'm simple in my own way :)))
When I arrived at school I saw my boyfriend standing beside our school gate. His name is Red, short for Jared, well...he is Handsome, caring, loving, smart, actually all I want from my dream boy is on him, He is perfect for me. And actually our relationship is a secret to my mother
He waved at me with a flashing smile that girls would all die for, I went towards him and gave him my sweetest kiss, and then we went straight to our classroom, our day went normally, nothing happened that much, when Red and I were on our way home we talked a lot of things about us. We stopped one block away from our house, I gave him a smack on the lips
"goodbye, see you next week!" I said sweetly, as I was to turn around, I didn't expect to see my mother, she was so shocked that her were open wide and her mouth half opened.
"M-mom I-I could exp-" i said stammering
"Yeah! You should explain! the two of you come with me!" shouted my mother while pointing at me and Red
We followed my mom until we reached our house
"Explain to me what I just saw awhile ago young lady!" my mother started
"U-umm.. this is Red, mom he is my boyfriend" I said nervously
"As I've suspected, don't you know the risks of getting in a relationship without even telling nor even asking permission from me? You have to stop your relationship now!"
"What?! No! I'm sorry mom, but I love him and he loves me! You can't stop me from loving him?! I didn't tell you about our relationship because, i knew in the first place you will not approve it! Why can't i just have my own decisions from the things that i want?!" i said while i'm starting to cry
"I'm just doing what is best for the two of you! Your relationship might affect your studies and you are still young to be in a relationship!" Mom
" But i'm still giving priorities to my studies!" Me
"Whatever! Until you graduate you will not have a boyfriend, and my decision is final!" Mom said and walked away
"But Mom!" I said while trying to chase her but Red held my hand, so i turned around to face him,
"It's okay, I love you and I promise you that I'll wait for you until we graduate, after that we will have a happy life together, it's not that bad isn't it? We will still meet and talk at school so there's nothing wrong. i'm ending our relationship in the meantime until we graduate" Red said with a bit of a sad tone
"Promise me that you will come back to me" i said
"I Promise, I love you and Goodbye" he said then we do the pinky promise ritual :)
After that he went out of our house, I ran to my room and cried, then my mom came in and explained my situation, we already said sorry to each other and hugged. Red and I still meet and talk in school and I know that it's a bit awkward but I'd just ignore it.
Four Years have passed and Graduation day came, many things happened and I became Top 2 of our class, my Mom was right, I should prioritize first my studies, and Red is Top 1 or let me say he is the Valedictorian of our class, I'm so proud of him. One by one we stated our speech by thanking our teachers, our school and our friends. When i was done in my speech a spotlight was directed at me, and i heared someone singing my favorite song, actually it's our theme song. Yes, it's Red who is singing, I was smiling widely that time, when he finished his song, he walked towards me and speaked with his microphone on.
"Janica, can you be my girlfriend....again?" he said sweetly, I giggled
"Yes, after all we made a promise to each other that you will come back to me until we graduate, and here is the time for that " I looked at my mother at the audience area and gave me a sweet smile.
He hugged me and gave me a smack on my lips the audience went 'awww'. I wish that our relationship will last forever.
