Rayla had finally gotten home from her mission. Even though she was only three, for a forest elf like her, she was expected to complete missions. They weren't super hard missions, but it was still a lot for a child her age. But what could you expect from the daughter of the forest elf leader.
In this world there were two species. One was the shinobi/human species and the other was the elvin kind.
There were many species of elves, but they were divided into four main groups. The main groups were fire, water, earth, and air. Within these groups were smaller groups. In the fire group there was sun and lava. In the air there was frost and sky. In the earth there was forest and animal. In the water there were frost and ice.
There were other groups but the elves don't like to mention them.
There were tribe leaders in charge of their tribes. They all had unique names, kinda like the kages. (I won't list them all here because 1. There are a lot, and 2. I haven't come up with them yet tehee 🙃)
Rayla POV
Her bones were aching from the job she had just gotten off of. It has been a simple mission but she had to go running through very dangerous terrain and she got quite a few cuts and bruises. Now, all she had to do was go and give a report to her father on how the mission went. No matter how much her body ached she always had to report back to father on how the mission went. She had completed the mission of course. She's not some low level elf.She had seen what her father had done to the older members of her tribe and she did not want to see what he was going to do to her if she failed. Her father was ruthless, he would have no mercy on children, not even his own daughter. She stepped into the compound that was in the middle of the forest. Even though it was in the forest, it was still supported quite well. We were able to get good materials from outside places because of the missions all of the tribe members go on. However, we do live in the middle of nowhere, so we have to travel far to get to the mission's destination.
A few of the younger elves, like her, wondered why the tribe didn't move closer to the port cities that were close by, or the villages that always had food. When asked, the older elves would reply, "It is tradition to live in the forest. We are forest elves, it's were we belong. We are strongest in our natural land. Cause I mean after all they were forest elves where else were they supposed to live?
She heard it through the compound nodding at the people she passed. Then I'm back at her but didn't smile. She had a towards her father's office which was separated from the rest of the peoples homes and the rest of the town. It was at least a mile away from everything else. When she ran the mile she arrived at the doorstep of his office building. She walked through the door.
She nodded to the receptionist at the desk and asked " Where is Alonso?" ( Alonso means eager for battle just so ya know). The receptionist glanced at me seeing who I was, and told me that he was in his office. I think her and walk toward his office which was at the top of the building. Coming up to his office I saw him a hole in the wall. I thought oh well looks like someone angered him again. I glanced at it once before I knocked on his door.
I heard a gruff "come in". I opened the door and walked in. My father didn't even look at me, as he had the hearing of a forest elf, he probably heard the conversation four floors down. He didn't look up from his paperwork as he said " Mission report". I took that opportunity to tell him about my mission. After that he said " you took too long. Go visit jake."
I started shaking in fear. Everyone was afraid of Jake. When you were told to go to Jake you knew that you probably won't come out without a few scars. Jake was the torturer. When someone did something wrong they were sent to Jake. I looked at father with scared eyes. " what did I do wrong father? I completed the mission. Just as you asked." "What did you call me?" He asked with rage in his voice.
I realize my mistake. He told me as a young child to never call him father. I looked at him and said "I am sorry for speaking against you and calling you father." He looked at me and rage. He still up from his desk. And walked over to me. I looked at him with scared eyes. He kept on walking towards me until he was in front of me. I saw him raise his hand.
I didn't know what he was going to do. So I looked at him questioningly. I suddenly felt the cold, hard calloused hands against my cheek. The slap was so sudden that I didn't have a chance to react. Since the tribe leader was rumored to be the strongest of them all his body had been trained to be able to take down any enemy. Whether it be an enemy tribe or his own daughter.
The slap was dealt with so much force that I fell on the ground. My head smacked on the floor so hard I had a tender spot. My head suddenly throbbed with pain and the world started to darken around me. It started at the edges of my eyes and closed-in. The last thing I saw before the darkness overtook, me was my father looking down at me with rage and disappointment.

I am trying to get all of my chapters to be at least 1,000 words or more. So if it takes a little while for me to update it's either because 1). I'm making long chapters or 2). I'm proofreading my earlier chapters to make sure they make sense. I realized that this chapter had a few spots that didn't make very much sense. I have corrected the ones that I saw. But if you see any others please tell me in the comments.~~~~~Jinchuuriki
