You see her
As she walks past you
She is radiating with happiness
Her laughs echo through the hall
Her smile glows like the sunYou walk past her on the weekend
Her face is drained
Her eyes glazed over
You smile
She only looks up timidlyThat Monday the halls are dreary
Everyone's heads are down
They cancel classes half way through
You wish you would've said something
Asked how she wasThe halls will never be as bright,
As radiant
You won't hear her laughs echoing through the halls
You will always remember her
You always thought that her life was so perfectUntil it wasn't
