Firey's regret

Lemon

It had been a few months after Leafy left.

"So you will be joining the Losers due to their unexpected loss of a team member." Four said to Lemon as she squealed with excitement due to the chances of her making some new friends. She then ran to the team and excitedly yelled "Hey guys! I'm your new team member!"
"Hi there, these guys are your new team members, including me. There's Cake, Coiny, Clock, Needle, Eggy, Firey, Loser, who is eliminated, and me, Pin."
"Hi! Oh and Pin, you seem nice, can I be your friend?"
"Sure!"

Those two developed a really good friendship. So they started sharing secrets.
"Psst... Lemon..." Pin hissed.
"What?" Lemon whispered.
"I got a crush on Coiny."
"I knew it!"
"Shh not so loud!"

Lemon helped get Pin and Coiny together, then when they did, she felt like she needed to say something to Pin. Tell her the truth.

"Pin, boyfriend stuff aside, I need to tell you something important." Lemon sighed.
"Ok go ahead."
"You know how I get kinda tense when I hear 'Leafy'?"
"Yeah..."
"It's because I knew Leafy... She was really nice."
"You knew her? How?"
"It... It's because... *gulp* It's hard to talk about because I haven't before. This is probably the deepest secret I have."
"It's okay, you can tell me anything. You can trust me with your soul."
"I just want you to know this: Pin, alliance, remember."
"I- Leafy?!" Pin exclaimed in a whisper before starting to cry.
"Yep, it's me."
"You really wanted to be my friend, didn't you."
"Of course, who wouldn't?"
"Oh Leafy, it's so good to see you again. Oh, should I call you Lemon?"
"Lemon, please. Wouldn't wanna give anything away."
"Ah of course, but when will you tell the others?"
"I don't know."
"You seem really different from when you were 'Leafy' compared to now. I mean personality-wise."
"Yeah... I realised what I was doing wrong, so I decided to change some things, starting with a different look, so people wouldn't think bad of me and I could start a new. Then, I tried to adapt to a nicer personality, which I did easier than I thought I would."
"That's nice, but how did your soul get into 'Lemon'?"
"Basically I just found a lemon on the floor and thought it was quite the coincidence because I actually used to be a lemon leaf. So I just flew into it, then I opened my eyes and I'm suddenly a Lemon."
"Cool!"
"I can also do this!" Leafy's soul jumped out of Lemon and flew in a circle before going back in.
"That's awesome Lemon!"
"Well yeah, but do you forgive me for my past actions?"
"Of course I do."

Firey, who was stood at a nearby hill, thought he was imagining things. Lemon possibly couldn't have been Leafy... Or could she... Some things for sure is that Firey: saw Leafy's soul, was confused and was determined to find out what was happening.

When Lemon was sat on a bench alone, humming to herself, Firey walked up to her and said "Hey Leafy!"
"Hey Firey!" Lemon then gasped and covered her mouth with her hands.
"Gotcha, Leafy."
"You've got me." Lemon said with her arms in a surrendering postion. "But, you also seem to be lonely half of the time. Now why do you think that is?"
"It's because you're here."
"I honestly think it's because of what you did to me."
"I told you I was sorry but you didn't seem to care!"
"You expect me to forgive you after 7 years?!"
"Oh my gosh... Just leave me alone."
"You're the one who started talking to me!" Lemon yelled as Firey walked away.

All was well with the Losers, except sad lonely Firey, and there he couldn't handle it anymore and just became angry. He was sat near the rest of his team, who were talking to Lemon, but this time he couldn't keep calm, and he then yelled out at the top of his voice "But Lemon is Leafy though!" Then there was an awkward silence for a few seconds, until Cake said "All of us Losers know that."
"Yeah, she told us all." Coiny said.
"And you don't hate her for that?" Firey harshly asked.
"Why would we? She's changed as a person (literally) and shes nicer than you now, at least." Needle stated. Firey walked away in frustration.
