Friend or Foe

My first Day ...

I looked at the ground immediately. " Like I was saying earlier, this is your new partner. John Doe." My boss said.  Everything screamed in shock. I shut my eyes extremely tight. Then I felt a hand lift up my chin. I was scared, even though I open my eyes. I saw light blue eyes, and a blonde streak of hair. I just stared and gave him and weak smile. Then he grabbed my collar and through me against a wall. I fell to the ground and yelped. " ARLO!!!" Sera yelled. " It is John! What he did when he was high school! Are you crazy!?" He screamed. "Let me help you up" Cecile said giving me a hand. "Thanks." I said holding my stomach. I started to cough up bits of blood, and I fell onto my knees. " Lord, why are you so weak? During High school you were king." Arlo said. I growled. I used the wall to get up and walked over to the couch were Elaine healed me. " Who is this boy in your wallet, John?" Sera asked. " Huh? What do you mean? I said. " Don't play stupid! Who is the boy that look like Arlo?" She stated.  " Non of your business, Sera." I mumbled.  " Wait! Didn't the resume say you had a son or something" Isen said. I groaned. "Who was the baby daddy?" Remi asked starring Arlo. " I told you, it is non of your business!" I said.

I was extremely tired from being healed. I sat at my desk, laying my head on my desk. " You gonna tell me who the boy is?" Sera said when we were alone. " My kid ..." I said. " I know that, but lets be real he have your facial structure" She sated. " Even though he looks like Arlo ... Why is that?" She questioned. " We both met at a bar by complete accident, got drunk, and it need up us fucking ..." I said. " That morning I left, went back to my house at that time, and a few weeks later I found out I got pregnant." I finished not answering anymore questions.  "So, He is Arlo's kid ..." She stated. I nodded at her comment.

After talking for a bit made me feel better. During the conversation she told me she started dating Cecile about the time I got pregnant with Zac. Also she told me she has a daughter. She adopted her about year back who is about a year in a half old now. We were planning a play date when Arlo needed to see him in his office.

"Yes sir, you need me?" I said. " Close my door" he stated sitting down in his chair. I did what I was told and closed the door. " Sit." He stated. I sat directly sat down. "So, you have a kid now huh?" He asked. I nodded. " His name is Zachary Arlo Doe" I mumbled happily. "Why my name huh?" He asked. "No reason" I lied. " How old?" He said about to yell. " Three and four in a few weeks" I said happily again. " The bar. What happened that night?" He asked in a serious tone. "What do you think? Most drunk people do ..." I growled knowing what he was trying to do. " So if I check your hospital paperwork about 4 years ago. I'll won't find any thing to deal with pregnancy, right." He stated sitting on the arm of the seat I was sitting. " You will .." I said. He then grabbed my chin aggressively. " He is mine isn't he?" He sharply asked. I started to cry and he walk to the door and open it. The team hear everything, Sera ran up to me and hugged me. Then I saw Remi walk over to him and slapped him. " Go home, and bring him to work tomorrow." Arlo said aggressive. I was scared to get on his bad side. I grabbed everything I needed and went to my truck and went to pick up Zac immediately.
