"So what's going on between you and Lynz?" Zach asks over the loud music. They were currently at a huge party, thrown by someone's older brother, who let Zach and his friends come. Even though Zach was only 13 at the time, he wasn't an idiot, noticing the relationship between the two sixteen-year-olds. Mikey flushed red. "I don't know what you mean," she says. Zach raised an eyebrow. Mikey sighed. She could never hide anything from her brother. "I do like her. But she doesn't like me in that way. She's not even gay."
"Actually, she is. Or, at least bi. I saw her making out with Kristin the other day. However I think she was under the influence, but even then, there were plenty of guys around to kiss." Mikey's eyes widened. "Kristin, like Kristin Colby Blandford?" Zach nodded. Mikey looked down at her red solo cup. It didn't even have alcohol in it, just some off-brand Dr pepper. "See, she doesn't even like me in that way." Zach looked around for the petite girl. Spotting her talking to Jimmy, he walked to her, abandoning Mikey at the kitchen counter. He pulled her away from his conversation, receiving yelps of disapproval. He pulled her into a slightly abandoned part of the house. "You need to get with Mikes," he says, getting right to the point. Lynz raises her eyebrows. "Not this shit again. We've been through this, Zach. She's not even gay." Zach rolls his eyes. "None of us are completely straight. She likes you, and you like her. So go give her a hickey or something." Lynz was taken aback. "How do you even know what that is, you're like five." Zach rolled his eyes. "Just go."
Lynz approached Mikey at the counter, who was still looking into her cup. Coming up behind her, she places her hands on her hips, resting her head on his shoulder. Mikey stiffens, unable to see who was touching her. "Hey, mikes." Lynz purred.
"Lyn?" Mikey laughed awkwardly, "W-what are you doing?"
"Nothing currently, but you're on the to-do list. So we'll see." She winked at Mikey and strutted off into the party, Mikey just stood there in awe.
'what the fuck just happened'
