Caroline is an ordinary school girl from small Manningtree in south east England. She has a small dog (a completely white staffordshire bull terrier who wears a pink collar) Caroline always wore her yellow hair in a bun, and two long pieces of hair reached down, near her shoulders She had blue eyes, a brown satchel and wore a light blue dress, with puffy shoulders and pink bands around her arms, with white lace at the bottom.
The date is the 14th of August 2015. Caroline is in Paris, France with her faithful companion Jessica. They were at Allee' des Refuzniks, the park very near the Eiffel tower. Caroline was starring at the Eiffel tower, with her dog to her right hand side.Caroline was finally relaxed, with school finally off her mind. She always liked to talk to her dog so she said, "Look Jessica, the Eiffel tower. It has just over 25000 rivets in it." Jessica just replied by wagging her little tail.
Her relaxed feeling was soon interrupted by the words "Extra! Extra! School Girl Abducted! Latest News!" coming at her like a title wave of attention hitting her left hand side. She turned to the left and saw a man, aged ruffly 17. He had a brown hat, scruffy black hair, blue shirt and brown trousers, carrying about 20 newspapers of something called "Clocks". Jessica also had turned to the left and had tilted her head to the right, as she always does when she is confused.
She caught a moment when he had paused and asked "What is going on?" he took a moment to catch his breath from all the shouting and replied, "A... A school girl from... East Sussex... was... was abducted by a 30 year old teacher." Suddenly Caroline and Jessica seemed a lot less like zombies and more like alive living beings. You could tell by the look on Jessica's face, that she was quite shocked and felt every inch a police dog on a mission.
Caroline handed over a €1 coin and took an issue of the "Clock". The man soon replied thanks and carried on promoting the "Clock". No one ever really seems to care much about news, they just promote it. You have really never seen a stranger cry, about someone they don't know in real life. The only time someone cries about the news, now, is if they are involved it in in some way.
The Clock said; Megan, 15 year old missing! School girl, Megan, aged 15, is missing. Last seen in France. Worries began when she didn't phone home. Suspect is Mr.Tree, her teacher, whom she was last seen with. If you see her please call emergency number. By the side of this text was a picture of Megan, she had long black hair, and pale skin.
Caroline went to sit on a bench near by. As she read the awful news, she said, in a slightly sad tone, "Jessica, what an awful thing, they think she is in South east France." Jessica said to her owner, "Poor girl, she must be terrified" They were in Paris, in the north of France, and where they suspect the girl to be.
Caroline looked at her pink watch, it was nearly 8pm. She told her dog, "Oh, look at the time, we should go get dinner. You could see in Jessica's eyes, she was hoping for chicken and the way she wags her little tail. Caroline put the newspaper in her satchel and headed for the, a top restaurant in Paris. They didn't allow dogs, so Jessica hid under the table,it took a little bit of waiting to get a table though. They were at the Thoumiex.
A waitress came up, blonde hair, black hairband and the ordinary uniform, she asked what Caroline would want. Caroline browsed the menu and asked for just a small chicken. She waited for a while, the Thoumiex was quite busy. But when it came, there was a note stuck on the side, the waitress didn't really seem to notice, she was obviously tired from all her work. It was torn and had messy hand writing, the person who had wirtten this was in a hurry, but why? And who? Caroline shook off the cold sensation going down her back.
After a few minutes, a woman had dropped her watch on the floor, right next to Jessica was, the table cloth didn't reach the floor so Jessica was spotted, "DOG, DOG!!! WHY IS THERE A DOG HERE?!?!?!" shouted the woman. Caroline grabbed her dog and shoved the little note from the side into her bag. She was holding on tight to her dog as she sprinted out the door. Jessica didn't know what was going on. Caroline was being chased by a few waiters and a chef holding a ladel, waving it around like a mad man!
Sprintin through the streets, Caroline had a massive crowd chasing her, some didn't even know why they were. Caroline managed to give them a slip by quickly cutting a corner. She put her dog down and took off her shoes, it felt as if her feet were litrally killing her! She sat down in the allyway that she used to get the slip. It was dark brown, stank of death and was a mess of rubbish and mud (well she hoped it was mud). She dudsted off a dumpster and sat on it, Jessica soon jumped up and sat on her lap. Her dress was ruined, she had ran through many puddles and it was covered in sweat, mud and dust.
She was just tired, still catching her breath, she was sure that she had ran at the least 5 miles. She reatched into her bag and took out her water bottle which had the lable ribbed off which had the sticky bit left on, the note was stuck onthe side. Caroline didn't notice and just drank and drank. Jessica stared at the note and sniffed it, she kept that sent in her mind, it could come in useful. Caroline had to head to her hotel, trying to keep away from the police, so she went into a shop and bought some new clothes. She got a pink top and boot cut jeans, also a new pair of boots. She only just made it to the hotel.
She signed in and and went up the stairs lined with velvet, up to her room. Room 73 was written across the door on a gold tablet, more likely just to be metal painted gold. She put in her key, opened her door and colapsed on her soft bed. This was a day to remember, she thought to herself. But it wasn't over yet. Jessica had the sent stuck in her mind, it felt stronger. She strutted to the bathroom. Jessica always struts when she feels smart.
In the bathroom was a bit of rope with a few strands of brown hair caught in it. She picked it up, trying not to druel because of how much she picked up in her mouth. She jumped onto the chair and put it on the wooden table. She then picked up Caroline's bag that she dropped on the floor. Caroline was lying on the bed, asleep or "resting her eyes" as she would put it. Jessica stuck her nose right in and dragged out the water bottle and tried to pull the note off, it just ripped, Jessica wasn't very delicate. So she ended up putting it next to the rope.
Caroline was soon woken up by her dog licking her hand. She got up, feeling very drowzy and followed her dog to the desk. Caroline felt that there was a connection between the two objests, lyring in the middle of the table. She sat on the beautifuly carved chair and examened the rope carefully. She looked at her dog, "How did this end up here Jessica? But thank you for getting it for me, and yes the perfume is the same, its a rare sent."
Caroline thought she had seen that colour hair before. It hit her like a rocket. She ran to her bag and took out the newspaper. She compared the hair to the girls picture, it was a perfect match. It also said that she was wearing a rare perfume called "Oceans sent" which smelt like the sea sponge mixed with rose and jasmin. That was it, "Oceans sent" perfume. But there was still a slim chance it may not of been her. Caroline examened the note, it reads,
Help me, I have been taken, all I know is were heading to the south of france, save me. I just heard we are going to...
The note ended there. The rest was torn away. No one knew but Caroline was dreaming for this moment ever since she was little. She couldn't go to the police, it would take away her only chance. She grabbed her suitcase that she had put in the corner a day before and re-packed her things, ready to set off to the south of france, to find her, by herself. Jessica barked, wagging her tail, wondering why Caroline was blank faced. Caroline snapped out of it and knelt down next to her dog, she wiispered, "this is it Jessica, an adventure, just you and me... I hope. I knew this day would come, and I need you to help me. What a good dog you are. If it wasn't for you. I wouldn't get this chance. Good girl."
Caroline thought to herself how could Megan of been in this room? She went into the bathroom to take a quick shower and get ready for bed.
