"Come in" She heard from the other side of the door, Deans deep voice causing her body to shiver.
Twisting the door handle slowly, she walked in. She quickly took notice to the intimidating aura the room gave off- or maybe it was the aura of the man presented in front of her.
Looking down she almost gasped as she saw the large bloodstain on the carpet in front of her.
Backing up she looked at him, only to see his eyes already on hers. He was an intimidating man, this she knew. Even through this, he was beautiful.
A sharp jawline, disheveled raven black hair, beautiful brown eyes-but he was a murderer and she was aware she was in danger of making the wrong move.
"You wanted to s-see me?" Willow said, her hands behind her back as she chewed on her bottom lip.
"I wanted to discuss earlier events. Specifically what happened in the bath today." He said calmly, staring at her with all his attention.
"It was nothing really I-I"
He cut her off as he held a hand up signaling her to sit, she did so quickly becoming seated in a chair in front of his desk.
They sat in silence for a moment, Willow unsure of what to do. She could see he was bothered as he clenched and unclenched his jaws constantly.
"I'm sor-" she was cut off as he held his hand up for her to stop talking once more, not wanting to hear her apologize.
"Do not apologize, just explain to me what happened." He said staring at her intensely.
"I'm fine... everything's fi-" he cut her off again, this time slamming his fist onto the top of his desk.
Willow sat still, not moving, not blinking, not even taking a breath of air.
The images flashed before her in her head. Bodies. The body of the woman who carried her for 9 months in her womb. The body of that man who would take her out to get Icecream every Saturday.
She didn't even cry. Could she cry?
"I-I can't unsee it...it's burned into my head...the blood, the smell... the feeling of death being present" She strained to get the words out, tears falling down her cheek. Turns out she could cry, in fact she was crying the whole time without even knowing it until she felt his finger touch her skin to wipe them away.
He had made his way in front of her kneeling down to caress her face as she oozed vulnerability.
She had to hold back the reflex to melt into his touch. She didn't know him. He's a murderer. She's in potential danger.
She kept telling herself those three things. A reminder that she didn't know this man or his intentions towards her.
"I'm truly curious as to what took place for you to be so petrified. But I won't push further for the time being. Let's get some food, hm?" He said stroking his fingers through his hair.
A somewhat eerie smile took place on his face.
She nodded quietly getting up, his hand wrapping around the side of her waist.
