The Unity of Chud

PROLOGUE
I was called a crying stone once. People in my village were doing this ritual called The Unity of Chud to bring me back to a human being. Legend says that, if all villagers surround the crying stone and tie the stone onto the coconut tree that is located in the center of the Dayak village, then provide a special box for the ritual, The Chud box, and put it under the tied stone.
Then, all the villagers pray and shout the spell out loud so the Chud box will shake and splash the tears of the crying stone out, making the stone wet. The crying stone will slowly begin to change back into human. After that all the villagers untied me and coated me with Kain Endek and they brought me to a place called Pondok so I could change the Kain Endek into my clothes.
After that the owner of the Pondok gave me special medicine for after the ritual and told me to consume it for three days to get rid of the sense of The Unity of Chud ritual.
Chapter 1
"I know right, hahahahaha"
"Guys, have you heard a legend of the Crying Stone?"
"The one named Ayu Mas?"
"How'd you know?"
"My mom told me the story once"
A group of girls were having a long beautiful chat about the legend of The Crying Stone. They were known as best friends in the Dayak village. Nowadays Central Kalimantan has improved, most of the society has moderated their lives. The children have started school and to study, some also entered college. The group of girls are currently in 9th grade, they always hangout together and love to spend time in the Dayak Garden, sometimes to spill the beans that's going on around school or doing projects.
"She's a brat honestly, like-"
"Really? I think so too"
"I don't really know the story though"
"So there's this one girl named Ayu Mas, she's known as the prettiest girl in our village, but I still think I'm prettier"
"Pfftt, excuse me?! The one and only pretty girl here is me"
"Helira, Nina, please, the tea is hot, so shut up and continue the story"
"She's pretty but her attitude is not as pretty as it seems. Her mother is a single parent, because her father died in the Sampit War which started in 1972, his head got chopped by the Madura society"
"Ouff that's awful"
"I know right. So since her mother need to raise Ayu Mas by her own, her income is decreasing. She became poor, which made her daughter pissed because now she can't buy makeup and new clothes like usual."
"Well let me guess, Ayu Mas feel ashamed to admit that Umai is her mom?"
"Who's Umai?"
"Her mom, duh"
"Yes you're right, Vic. She doesn't want to admit Umai as her mom because she's poor and she look like a dirty maid"
"What a brat"
"And then one day, Ayu Mas wanted to take a trip to the market to get some food. She brought Umai too. On the way many people were looking at Ayu Mas and Umai"
"Some people were asking Ayu Mas if the person behind her was her mother or her maid. And surprisingly Ayu Mas said that the person walking behind her is her maid!"
