Give it up. You will never be ninjas!" Kakashi glared.

Naruto was the first to speak up. Well actually he kinda screamed. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN GIVE UP?!? GIVE ME A BREAK! Okay so maybe none of us got our hands on the bells. But why they heck should we quit over that!?"

I sighed in defeat, laying my head between my knees. I failed my parents, I won't be able to continue my dreams.

"Because not one of you... Has what it takes!" Kakashi stated like it was the most obvious thing in the world. I could feel tears stinging lightly. Sasuke gritted his teeth and ran towards Kakashi, Sakura yelled his name which caused my head to snap up to see Kakashi sitting on Sasukes back. "What you are is a trio of spoiled brats..."

"Don't step on Sasuke!!! GET OFF OF HIM!" Sakura yelled in anger.

"Are you trying to make fun of the shinobi with your behavior? Well are you?" When noone answered, he continued. "Did you even stop to wider for one minute... Why you were divided into teams?"

"Uhh..?" Naruto mumbled

"Excuse me?" Sakura asked.

"Obviously not. All of you, except one missed the point of this exercise." Kakashi grumbled.

"It had a point..!?" Naruto asked in bewilderment.

"Of course. And that point determines whether or not you would succeed." Kakashi explained.

"But... You haven't explaint what that is yet!" Sakura retorted.

Sighing, I glanced over at her. "It's not that hard. I'm mean come on its practically an everyday thing for ninjas." I muttered, earning a nod from Kakashi and gave me a silent glance to not say what it was.

"Kairi is right. We ninjas use it everyday on missions." He said.

"We'll come on then!" Naruto screeched, "Tell us!!"

"It's teamwork." Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto's faces all stared in shock, as Kakashi continued. "If all of you had come at me. TOGETHER. You might've been able to take the bells." Kakashi sighed.

"But wait!! There's only two bells!! Even if we worked together, one of us would still have to go without lunch! You say teamwork but your playing us against each other." Sakura accused towards him.

"For being the one of the smartest girl in our class, Sakura.... Your pretty dumb." I sighed, earning adeviled growl saying 'shut up' from her.

"The situation was set up to reveal which of you... Would set aside your individual interests... And propose to the others that you would work together for the good of all." Everyone looked guilty as if they were finally catching to what Kakashi was saying. "Instead of which... Sakura! You ignored Naruto, who was right in front of you and Kairi who offered to work together, but instead you focused your attention on Sasuke. Though, you didn't know where he was. " His gaze landed on Naruto. "Naruto tried to fight me single-handedly, which all of you should've done at the Same time. And you ignored Kairi, when she came to your aid." Then he finally turned to Sasuke, "And Sasuke had already decided that everyone just got in his way. That he was better playin solo and ignored Kairi as well. You are a team! Act like it! Yes it's important to have individual skills, but it's more important to have teamwork!"

*A/N: so Imma skip the part with the "Sakura kill Naruto or Sasuke dies scene so yeah ... I'm lazy deal with it xD*

"The day could come... When one of you may be taken hostage and your forced to make such a choice. When your one a mission, your lives will always be on the line." Kakashi explained getting up from Sasuke and walking towards the stone marker. "Look at this marker... All the names carved in the stone. Heros of our village. Ninja."

I looked at it sadly, but Naruto being Naruto didn't quite understand. "That's it! I just made up y mind!" He yelled."That's where I want my name to go to! I'm not gonna throw my life away! I want to be like them!!! A hero!"

A irk mark on my forehead, I punched him hard over the head. "Idiot! Theyre not the heros your thinkin of!" I growled, but added softly, "Their names are on their because they were KIA!!"

"KIA...?" Naruto asked.

"Killed in Action..." I answered sadly. My father, Kakashi Nii-sans whole team. And a lot others, were on that stone. Naruto's usually happy face turned into a sad one. Kakashi stared at the stone a little more before turning to us.

"Pay attention. I'm giving you one last chance. One that will be far more difficult than our last little test. If your prepared to continue, you may eat one of the bento boxes. But no sharing with Naruto. Since he went and tried to get lunch before the bell ended. If you feed him, you fail automatically. Do you understand?" He asked and we nodded.

As soon as Kakashi disappeared, I grabbed the lunch and opened it just as Naruto's tummy rumbled I giggled as I broke the chop sticks and picked up some rice. I held it up to his mouth waiting for him to open up.

"K-Kairi?! What are you-?!" I cut Naruto off by shoving food into his mouth.

"But Kakashi-sensei, told us not to!" Sakura warned.

"Look... I was taught by someone special to never leave a ninja behind, no matter what. Im not letting you three go back to the Academy, Ill sacrifice myself to make sure of that." I smiled at them. "Besides I cant let my best friend go hungry!" Sasuke stared at me then lifted his bento box as well.

"She's right. And plus we need all the strength we can get." Sasuke agreed.

Sakura gulp and shoved her food in front of her towards Naruto too. "Okay! Just this once!"

"Heh." I smiled at them.

"Thanks-" Naruto began but was cut of by huge cloud of smoke.

"YOU-!" Kakashi growled ashe appeared from the smoke. We all backed away in fright. "Pass~!"

We all stared in shock and wonder. "How did we pass-? Oh wait, he was watching out teamwork a minute ago... Oops forgot. My bad~" I sheepishly said as everyone face planted. "Dude! You have to show me how to do that... But never mind that actually looked like it hurt..." I grimaced.

Everyone shook their heads. Kakashi spoke out. "Your starting to understand. A true ninja seeks for the hidden meanings within the hidden meanings. In a ninjas world, those who disobey the rules and fail to follow orders are scum. However, those who abandon their friends are even worse than scum." I smiled sadly at him. His team mate, Obito Uchiha had told him that on a mission. But died on that exact mission to save their other teammate. "This exercise is done for. You all pass! Well continue tomorrow."

"I'm finally a ninja!!" Naruto cried. I laughed and untied him, and ran to catch up with the others.
