We come back to our story in Y/N's warehouse as night falls and everyone begins to fall asleep Y/N sat at a table in front of a two laptops looking over plans for the Vytal festival. Swapping to his second one he began making a fake identity and entering into the tournament as a one man team from Vacuo as well as designing a weapon and mask. After hours of doing research he settled on a simple sword that could change into a shotgun.

After he had gotten his weapon forged he had then begun working a mask and going through many designs he went with a simple mask that would throw off his opponents and make it easier for him to quickly end the battle without hopefully showing too much of his abilities.
Y/N's log #1: "I know that whatever is happening is going to happen soon. My plan is to enter the Vytal festival tournament and hopefully keep anything from happening. In order to enter I've hacked into the Vacuo school system and placed myself as a one man team after a terrible 'accident' took the rest of my team. To keep anyone from Vacuo interfering with this I've temporarily shut down their communication systems and effectively isolated them from hearing anything. Tomorrow is the first rounds of the tournament and my first match in it. End log."
Y/N got up and started working with his sword to get used to it and so it wouldn't throw him off while fighting.
Timeskip the next day first match of tournament.
As Y/N was walking into the arena he could hear the crowd murmur and his opponents comment how easy the match would be.
Doctor Oobleck: "To start our tournament we have Team NGHT hailing from Mystral as some of the best of their year.
Professor Port: "And their opponent the one man team hailing from Vacuo Y/N L/N a promising student with a lot to prove, he reminds of me of myself when I was younger.
Y/N: "Well gentlemen let's get this over with shall we?" The moment before the match started the landscape began to change and formed spires of ice on half of the arena while the other half had a thick and vibrant jungle. Y/N took a moment to collect himself and suddenly the hair on his neck began to stand up as his gut began to twist into knots as the sky turned to night and thick mist rolled in.
???: "Day shall turn to night as I rise. The netherworld shall flood as I wake. All shall fall in my presence.
Four gleaming eyes appeared in the mist before it was swiped away by a massive sword revealing a massive creature with a frightening red face and body with teeth all over and bat wings sticking out of his head.

The leader of team NGHT Nathan had begun approaching Xandred and began to talk "Hey get out of here with your stupid prank we have a match to wi-" he was cut off as Xandred swung the flat of his sword hitting him in the knee bypassing his aura and breaking it instantly.
Xandred: "Know your place at my feet!" He spun around and sent a beam at the rest of the team taking them down swiftly with extreme injuries. He stopped and looked around the arena before he stopped and saw a woman with black hair and golden eyes glaring at him. "You dare to glare at me you weakling!" Swinging his sword once more and sending a smaller beam this time cutting one of her eyes and scarring the area around it. While everyone was distracted and panicked Y/N took his chance to run and activate his morpher where no one was looking.
Y/N: "Samurai form red." As he began his transformation something went wrong instead a tornado of wind, water and lightning appeared as he began to change into something else.
SAMURAI'S CURSE BROKEN
In place of the red samurai ranger Y/N had changed into one of his strongest enemies.

Y/N: "Well this is new. What am I doing I have to hurry!" Rushing back with a new speed he'd never had before he saw Xandred was about to finish off team NGHT. Moving swiftly he unsheathed his sword and blocked the massive sword before it could reach it's helpless targets.
Xandred: "So the cowardly ranger comes to fight, and in the form of a traitor how Pitiful!" Xandred broke the deadlock and sent a blast at Y/N that he managed to block but sent him skidding back.
Y/N: "It's me and you Xandred let's settle this." And thus the deadly duel had begun.
