Turn away;

Soft huffing paired with running footsteps in the hallway. Each step was a soft,
Tap
Tap
Against the tiles.
"Don't die on me. Don't die on me."
The only thoughts that rang through his head. He didn't even have to look at the signs or room numbers. By that time, he knew exactly where his fiance's room was.

If you could get me a drink;

He'd just left for a second, and suddenly he got an awful sinking feeling in his stomach.
He couldn't dismiss it. The other male had been in such bad condition as of recently, he couldn't call it paranoia.

Of water cause my lips are chapped and faded;

"Hanta-!" As the blonde slid into the room, his heart beat like it'd break his ribs. The other male, looked awful. His hair was incredibly short. It'd been a while since the actual treatments, but he just wasn't getting better. The dark circles under his eyes were prevalent against his pale skin, lips chapped and just as pale as the rest of him, his eyes didn't shine like they used to. He missed seeing that shine. That was something he absolutely loved about Hanta. The way his eyes just, glowed.

Call my aunt Marie;

"Mashirao.." Hanta's voice was weak, and strained. His heart rate wasn't strong. He motioned for the other male to come to him, which he did. He took Mashirao's left hand in his two trembling hands. "I'm not gonna make it."

Help her gather all my things;

"No... Hanta, you, you gotta!" Tears came to Mashirao's eyes at Hanta's words. "We were going to get married... Hanta please." He raised his off hand to his face, wiping his tears.
"I'm sorry, Mashirao... I don't think I can hold on any longer."

And bury me in all my favorite colors;

"Hanta, you can't go yet. I-I'll call in a doctor. You'll get through!" Gentle tears turned to waterfalls. What would he do with Hanta gone? "Mashirao, I can't stay. I haven't been getting better. Its been almost four years. I'm fading... I'll be gone by tonight." The raven-haired male spoke quietly. He never thought he'd have to say that. It totally broke his heart.

My sisters and my brothers, still;

"No... Hanta this isn't taking you away from me! You've been so strong these past four years... I promised you'd get through. I promised you'd heal!" Mashirao fell to his knees next to Hanta's bed. He couldn't bare to hear this. The love of his life, was saying goodbye. He didn't like it. Not at all.

I will not kiss you;

"Well, neither of us thought it'd get this bad." Hanta responds softly. "At this point I'm not living. I'm surviving. It... feels awful. I'm not getting out of this. No way am I truly surviving.." he says quietly. "I know it's hard to hear..."

Cause the hardest part of this, is leaving you;

"And it's just as hard to say. I don't want to leave. I want to marry you. To be there with you. Grow old with you... but this is as old as I'm going to get." Hanta says softly. "You're 28, Hanta. You're only 28. You have so much left... you're too young to go." They'd been engaged since they were both 23. They'd agreed their last name would be Sero.

Now turn away;

Hanta was diagnosed with cancer at age 24. Just a year after their engagement. They planned to have their wedding that year, but it was postponed for the treatment. They thought it'd only take a year or two. They continued to make further plans for their wedding.
