A'Mariell (uh-Mari-el) (November 28th) Sighing in relief, I fell back onto my bed . "Finally" I thought out loud , looking at my room all pieced together .. looking over , I grabbed my mom's picture off the dresser slightly smiling. "Miss you." I said in my head fighting the tears . A year back my mom went missing, didnt bring her phone, didn't pack any clothes , didn't even bring her toothbrush ... she just vanished , no trace of her once so ever , the police eventually ruled her case unsolved so I never got any peace or closure about it , just another wound that I have to let time heal. "El!" My oldest brother yelled from his room down the hall knocking me out of my thoughts . "I'm in my room Mar." I semi shout back to him, he soon peaked his head through the door way taking a look at my room, he cracked a smile. "It look nice El, Ma woulda decorated her shit like dis too." He complimented .. I faked a smile "Yea , I thought so too." I replied sadly looking out my french windows. It was 3 of us , Marley, Marlon &' Me .. all we know is each other , Marlon's the oldest, 21 . He don't play round when it comes to us , ever since my mom left he had to provide for us . &' by any means he gone make sure we got more then enough . We only share the same mom , he don't know his pops &' my pops in jail . Marley the baby 4, me &' him share the same dad . Every now &' then we'll get a call from him , he'll check in send us a couple dollars. My pops &' Marlon don't really get along , Mar feel like my dad chose the streets over us . Sometimes I feel the same but I know he was just tryna take care of us . "Aye look doe , I got sum business to handle . I left the g6 keys on da table get marlon when he out aight?" He more so told me then asked. "I need sum money, I wanna cook tonight. &' it ain't no groceries here." I told him , he smacked his lips . I smiled , showing all my teeth . "Bro you need a job , dats what da fuck you need." He said back pulling out his phone . I heard my phone go off , grabbing it I checked the notification . $MARMONEY SENT $50 "I likeee datttt." I yelled after him as he left out the house . My phone went off once again , causing me to grab it . Brother🤞🏽: I better come home to a great meal I laughed at his message , sliding my Nike slides on. I skipped down the stairs snatching the keys off the table making my way to the front door, Leaving out the apartment I locked the door from the outside . "Ouch!" I groaned smacking the floor , I wasn't watching where I was going . I was too deep into my phone , the shaderoom always exposing some damn body. "Damn fuck, watch where you moving shorty." I instantly caught an attitude ; I pushed myself off da ground looking up at the boy I bumped into . We made eye contact , he deepened the stare &' licked his lips . I blushed , looking down . I hid my smile &' shook my head "He look good" was my first thought. He was somewhat lightskinned ,Deep dimples , pearly whites , his lips pink &' plump

"Sorry." I said , picking up my keys , &' phone. He just looked me up &' down, not even acknowledging my apology . "You don't gotta do allat." I told him , turning my nose up. He chuckled , licking his lips again. "Do all what my baby?" He asked leaning against the wall . I tilted my head to the side looking at him . "All Dat" I responded pointing at him . "Taking my clothes off wit yo eyes." I added causing him to laugh . "Who is you? You look brand new." He spoke , still eye fuckin me . I ain't gone lie that shit was starting to turn me on , he need to stop . "A'Mariell, I am brand new . I just moved here." I confessed , he nodded. "I'm Tae." He told me sticking his hand out . I looked at his hand then back at him before grabbing it , I smiled at him . "Watch where you movin tae." I mocked him, walking past him. I knew he was watching me walk away , he probably ain't have nothing else better to do . I made my way to the car , getting in the drivers seat . I adjusted the mirrors , seats &' wheel , plugged my aux in &' made my way down the street . I arrived at the store , almost regretting my decision. Nothing but drug dealers, crackheads &' homeless folks were posted outside the grocery store . Walk-in In I heard a whistle , I turned my nose up shaking my head . Walking straight to the meat section I grabbed 2 packs of steak . My mom used to make Steak , mac &' cheese with potatoes , since this was our first day in our home I decided I was gone remake her recipe . I've always watched my mom cook that was my peace , whenever I had a bad day at school or whenever I had an attitude watching her cook relieved my stress . Missing her was so hard to do . After grabbing all my necessities to cook I made my way to self checkout , bought my food &' got back to the car going in the direction of home .
