Marlon ( a week later )
I had just checked my momma outta rehab, me &' A'Mariell still been at eachother necks but hopefully dis will solve allat . I hate apologizing , she knew she was wrong but she such a baby her spoiled ass gone put a lil front up til she get whatever she want .
"Hey baby, ooh my . What happened to yo face baby?" My mom asked once we met face to face . I smiled &' just pulled her into a hug . "Me &' El got into it." I mumbled , grabbing her bags &' walking to the car . "Well what you mean you &' Elly got into it? What happened to yo face?" She asked again, climbing into the passenger seat . "We was fussin &' she end up hittin me wit sum." I told her back, shaking my head . "Well damn." She laughed, I looked at her with a mug before cracking a smile . "My baby done got sum power." Momma added , bustin into full blown laughter . "Yeah she been on a damn roll." I mumbled again . Turning down the street I found a sonic &' pulled into the drive thru ordering the house some food . My momma looked over at me caressed my beard &' smiled .
"Boy , am I happy to see y'all again." She told me I smiled too . "Stop it girl fo' you make a real nigga cry." I told her back .

We pulled up to the house , I put the car in park before unfastening my seatbelt &' climbing out the car . I watched as my mom looked uneasy, I reached in the car &' gripped her hand . "Aye, you our momma. We yo kids, just remember dat I got you." I said before wiping the tears that fell . I couldn't imagine what she went through down in there, &' I know all she was worried bout was us.
"Na come on. You my 'I'm sorry' gift." I said jokingly before tapping her hand &' getting out . I grabbed her bags from the back before leading her in the house . I unlocked the door revealing Marley running around with A'Mariell close behind him cleaning , we locked eyes &' she just stared .
"Hey." I spoke first nonchalantly, breaking the silence that shit was weird . "Hey." She repeated same tone &' all . I just chuckled .
"If you done wit yo lil attitude I would like to put bu my pride aside &' ju-"
"Well dats all you had to say cause I been missing my brother &' I'm sorry I just been going through it I miss you I miss mom I miss my old life I'm just brand new around here &' I don't fit I'm jus-" she burst into tears running into my arms . My mouth just dropped as I cradled her back &' forth, rubbing her back. "Aye aye, you said you missed me &' im here. I got somethin- somebody for you." I told her smiling , she cracked a lil smile back wiping her tears . "It better not be Tae or Zay cause I'm tired of dem sunsofbitches." She joked
"Hey hey hey language." My mom interrupted coming from behind me . A'Mariell was stuck in the moment , mouth wide open eyes buck , just lookin stupid . I smiled at them as they collapsed into each others arms comforting eachother . Marley walked up &' looked at me . "Well why I get no hey!" He told me , I scooped him up &' joined the family huge in awe. Something going good for me .

Hours had passed &' I was just catching my mom up on all the tea I could've held for da past year &' a half
All my secrets, all my truths &' lies . We had just been going back &' forth tellin eachother things .
"Na baby , I'm gone tell you dis one old thang." My mom spoke to me making me look at her .
"If nobody love you baby I do, I always do." She confirmed to me bringing my forehead closer to hers planting a kiss on it . I just smiled pulling her into a hug . "I love you too mama."
Marley waddled out &' climbed onto us . "Hey mom, I'm Marley." He introduced himself making both us laugh , "Well hello, I'm the woman dat named you Marley sweetheart." She told him tapping his nose he fell into laughter , we both just tickled him til he was tired . "Alright na, Marley let's gone get in da bed. Goodnight baby, I'll see you in the morning." She told me before picking Marley up &' plopping him on her hip . I picked my phone up , clicking Snapchat . Thumbing through stories, I got to Tae's seeing him &' Noel caked up , I rolled my eyes before deleting him off my whole snap . We haven't talked at all this past week, he hasn't texted me or anything, came by here nun , &' I'm honestly not mad, The more he was away from me the better . I figured he was gone come back around anyways, he can't stay away to save his funky ass life . Two minutes later my phone vibrated I clicked my green message app.
Tae: yo , you movin real odd . Whatchu deleting niggas for ?
I laughed before replying, This nigga be watching but while I got his attention I'll play wit him .
Mari : Cause you caked wit a hoe n you posed to be in my bed 🙄 . LAME
I Sent the message &' clicked the lock button on my phone grabbing my remote &' finding love &' hip hop reruns to watch .
Tae: we on good terms ? 👀 never know wit yo hoe ass
Mari: Still pissed I layed dis coochie down, toughen up
I died typing my message, I loved pissing him off .
Laying back in my bed I closed my eyes letting all the things that happened over these past months flash before my eyes . I sighed , remembering all the feelings I had for tae , they fluttered over me making me reminisce . I shook my head &' opened my phone again calling him , by the third ring he picked up
"Yo." He spoke to me, I froze not having anything to say . "Wassup." He added , I let out one more deep breath . "Can you pull up on me ? I just wanna talk." I finally spoke back , it was silent for a little before I heard his keys jingle &' a door shut . "I'm on my way." He told me before hanging up . I smiled slightly before climbing out my bed throwing a pair of sweatpants &' a hoodie on .
