Psycho originated from Greek as psykho means mental.Psychopath— someone who is mentally unstable or afflicted with a psychosis (disconnection from reality). In cases of this novel, as said before, psycho relates to the mind ( mental) or psychology. Path being direction, a way of passage. Combined as Psycho Path— the direction of the mind and mental stability, eventually leading to disconnection from reality.
