The Basics:

You have 3,000 words to wow us with. The story can be a piece of fiction or nonfiction (just let us know which it is, in your submission). Your starting off point is 'No We Can'. How you interpret this prompt is up to you. For us, it's all about empowering young people to smash their goals, no matter how many nos they might hear...

The Inspiration:

We've teamed up with incredible Wattpadders, Beth Reekles (@Reekles) and Sakz Hussain (sakz15) to help get your creative juices flowing. To read their 'No We Can' stories, head over to their accounts. Once there you'll also find that they've put together some words of wisdom for you – so whether you're new to writing or have been doing it all your life, their advice should be valuable too.

The Prize:

Ok, so we will be PUBLISHING our favourites! If you're picked as one of our talented twelve winners, your story will sit alongside Sakz and Beth's creations in a physical book, entitled the 'NCS No We Can anthology'. Of course you'll receive a copy too – which we hope will serve as a regular reminder of all you're capable of achieving.

The Entry Guidelines:

Most importantly, get your entry over to us by 11.59pm on Saturday 29th February 2020! Email wattpad@ncstrust.org.uk and be sure to include your name, word count and attach (or link us to) your story.
