The building

It's cold...too...cold...I'm freezing? Is that the word you use when your very cold?. The snow is falling slowly on me with little flakes attaching onto my dark hair and the coat around my small body.

The air was so cold that I vould see my own breath coming out of my lungs. I continued trending along the snow with each foot getting heavy within the snow and how deep it is for me to walk through.

I kept on walking through the white snow to see if I could find a place to rest for the day and to my surprise there is a town few miles ahead with some kind, with some kind paint? On the side of some buildings and broken glass windows that lead inside of the worn down stores.

I continued walking towards the closest building I could enter for warmnest and shelter for now. The closest one was called a libr- I couldn't read the rest of it, is because the other letters are gone or have fallen down to the ground and was hidden from plain sight is from my own guessing for the moment.

I slowly enter the building to see hallways leading to different ways from left, right, straight, and into smaller or bigger rooms. While looking around i found a large area filled with shelves that have these weird paper thing that have dust covering each of every one of them.

I walk towards to one of the shelves to figure out if I could get any hint for those paper things. I found  sign of some kind laying on the ground with words so worn out is that I could barely make it out

"Mmm....bo..k? No maybe ,Bork no, hmm?. Wait every sign I see have the same few letters missing and same four letters with b and a k in it, they also have an o with it so if I put another o with those letters after the first o, so then that spells.....!? Ah.. I'm such an idiot. These things with such hard cover and with paper in it called a book to, man I should have figured that out soon enough ah, all well that is not important right at the moment I need to find something to keep me warm even if I'm barely at all with a oversized blue coat that have one horn and little oversized pair of pants I'm currently wearing while trying my best to hold up."

'Why was I saying what I look like in my clothes out loud to no one around... Wait is there anyone else out in this freezing snowed area? They never told us about the outside or if any thing at all now I think about. How long have this town, is it a town? Yeah I'm just gonna go with that for now anyway need to see if there's info in one of these hundreds of books about keeping warm'

There were lots of books on each shelf in rows and section to certain stuff like ^speaking French for dummies or different types of bird looks^  they weren't what I was looking for specific but good to know I guess. The further I go in the more books keep appearing on the shelves with different titles on each one, three hours in the libr and still nothing I could find about warmth or close to it. Utterly. Bored. Now. How big is this place and now I'm questioning how old. no. How did they even survive this long in the first place.

The time I was looking for a while until I found a book that had writing in front saying ^journal^ I got no clue why bother picking it up if there was nothing written inside or anything use at the moment but stuff in one of my pocket any way for use till later I guess.

While reading over each titles of books that was not important at the moment till later, I finally found something very to close to what I need  now. ^Fire to toast you warm^ weird title but whatever it doesn't matter, the book has some words I don't understand at all but that is reasonably because I get that I'm still like four or five years old and there will be like high end or hard to pronounce words for me until I learn how to say them.

"*grumblbl* Ok, ok, calm down for a moment, don't panick think for a moment, your hungry and cold right now so the logical thing right now is to find food but I'm gonna die in the cold if I don't find warmth soon. Danm I'm in quite a pickle right now and both are important soon.
