The Grief

When I awoke, Danielle wasn't under my arm, in fact she wasn't even in the room. I sat up and shook my head, I slowly got up and grabbed my headphones, and slid them on my head before continuing out the door.

Before I left I checked the clock, it was 12:00. I flicked my tail and hurried down the hall, I got into the kitchen where Sam and Natalie were preparing lunch. "Oh, Asia, your here, I thought someone had killed you off or something." Briana joked,

I only cringed in reply. That was still a sore subject, after seeing that yesterday, I'm sure it was a sore subject for all. I walked over to the kitchen and let them know what I wanted. They nodded, and Natalie got the ingredients out to make it. I smiled and walked over to a seat and sat, the spot being between Emilie and Danielle. I looked over to Danielle,
"Hey, Danielle, why did you come to my room, after what happened to Weston?" I asked her calmly.
She looked to me, and looked back at the table in thought. She opened her mouth to answer, but no words came out. I flicked my ear and put my paw on her shoulder. "It's ok, if you don't want to tell me that's fine." I stated calmly.

She only shook her he's in reply. "I want to tell you, but I guess I'll tell you later on." I nodded my head, if she didn't want to tell me I wouldn't push her.

Soon Sam and Natalie had burst through the doors and had the food on their arms like waiters, they set down the food in front of the owners. Once everyone got their food we all thanked our cooks and waited for them to sit before digging in.

I started to eat my food, my fish and chicken, the meats delightfully cooked throughout the slices, the meat tender and smooth. Once I finished I started a conversation with Danielle she being the only one finished around me.
"So how has your day been?" I asked her

"Oh it's been good, besides waking up with the fact two of your friends are now dead." She stated.
I only nodded,

"Yeah it's pretty bad huh.." I scratched the back of my head. "Knowing that you could die at any giving moment.."
We sat in silence for a while. That silence of grief and realization, it seemed to last forever, but soon the silence between us was broken, and she got up from her seat.

"I'm going to go to explore this mansion.." I shook my head, "you shouldn't go alone, I'll go with you." I turned to Emilie, who was now finished eating.
"Emilie do you want to go with us?"
Emilie nodded and got up, we waved to everyone at the table and walked out of the kitchen. We went to the area with a gate in front of the stairs, but when we got there the gate was gone.

"W-what!?" I exclaimed, I started up the stairs, up there was a large lounge area, there was a pool, and what looked like a bar. I looked over to see Herobrine on the couch.

"I see you discovered the second floor." He started to chuckle.
"When did this happen?" Emilie asked.
"When your comrades died, you unlocked the next level, after almost all your meetings you'll discover a new level."

"That's kind of messed up, after our friends die, and we vote for another one of our friends to die, we get rewarded, for killing? What kind of reward is that?" Emilie asked him with a very irritated tone.

"I rewarding you for surviving. Isn't that good enough?" With that he disappeared.

"Let's go tell the others." I said to Emilie and Danielle. They nodded and we headed back to the kitchen.

I went to the end of the table and pulled out a chair. I got on top of the chair to get noticed.

"Everyone! We've found something that you need to see!" I announced, everyone was staring at me like I was crazy,

"What did you find?" Briana stood from her chair,

"Well we found another story to this mansion... And we want you all to come check it out, it's a whole new area that's pretty cool." I flicked my tail. "You will all come look won't you?"

Briana nodded "I'll come look," she turned to the others, "come on it seems interesting."

Natalie shrugged her shoulders and got to her feet, soon everyone was on their feet.

"Let's go then, I'll lead the way."
