Eye, Spy, Harry Styles?!

HI! I’m Rose.  I am 18 years old and love one direction.  I have to say - I think most girls my age do!  I have numerous hobbies, one Includes playing the piano.  I don't do grades, but I know loads of songs!  My other main hobby is horse riding.  I love it soo much! My speciality is show jumping.  I have a beautiful Strawberry roan called Sweetbriar, she's brilliant.  I also have a rabbit called sue, whom I exercise on a lead.  Yep - you heard me right, a lead. For. A. rabbit.... called sue.  My favourite outfit is a white knee length dress, my black trilby and my red doc martins.  I have long red hair (natural colour) which is slightly wavy.  I have big hazel eyes, which change colour to a darker brown when I'm angry.  I have freckles dotted across my nose and cheeks, which annoy me sometimes.  I can't say my temperament is perfect, I get very grumpy sometimes...  but overall I am a crazy child with a great sense of humour. 

HI I’m Alex. I am 18 but 4 months younger than Rose. I love my drums and One Direction. I also love Karate, It Is just so reliving to go be able to go somewhere and release all my stress on a punch bag Instead of a pillow. I do this with April; it’s a weird sight if you didn’t know us well. I have three cats; Molly, Jen and Poppy. I love them so much. My favourite outfit has got to be my black doc martins with my fish net tights and shorts, matched with a black vest top and my blazer. I have long black hair with multicoloured streaks in (not my natural colour) that Is very messy but how I like It. I have a pale complexion with bright blue eyes. I don’t often get angry but you have to do something very bad to annoy me and when I am angry you better watch out.

Hi I’m April. I am 17; yes the youngest of the lot. I love my guitar and I have been playing for 12 years meaning I was 5 when I started. Yes, I was young but it was a small guitar. I also love One Direction. My hobbies are Karate, cheerleading and gym. I have no pets and never have. My favourite outfit has to be my black skater skirt that stops mid-thigh with a white v-neck tee-shirt, I usually wear that with my black knee high socks and black dolly shoes and in the winter a black quilted coat. I know I sound like a Goth but I’m really not, promise! I have long chocolate brown hair that is pretty wavy. I have a little bit of a tan and a spot free complexion. My eyes are a very bright green; they almost look un-natural surrounded by lashes that look like they have been coated with mascara. When I cry my eyes go bright blue and when I’m angry they go a scary colour of grey, that’s the only way to tell if i’m angry without me showing it as I can keep my emotions well hidden in my expression. I usually don’t get angry easily but when I do I always go to the gym or for a run so I never take the anger out on anyone unless it is serious.

Aprils POV

Well that’s us, but you know we weren’t always like that, oh no defiantly not! Years ago Alex and I were best friends with the one and only Harry Styles! As you could have guessed he wasn’t famous back then so we got on like a house on fire. It all started when we were in primary school, in year 3 I think, we were about 5, in reception. Anyway it was just a normal day for Alex and I.

Flashback

 We walked in linking arms smiling and laughing....

It was our 2nd week at our new school and we loved it. We were on our way to our very first music lessons, Alex to her drum lesson with Miss Smith and me to my guitar lesson with Mr Born. We were walking up the path laughing and taking in all the smells, cut-grass, rose bushes and the summer breeze, and sights of the other children running around and playing when we noticed a bunch of boys in the year above us surrounding a smaller boy about our year, maybe younger shouting at him. The younger lad looked like he needed help so we, being tom boys, walked straight over to them. Alex tapped the tallest one lightly on the shoulder. He turned around and loomed over us. He was only a couple of inches taller than us but he gave of a menacing stance that instantly made him seem like a giant.

“What?!” He asked clearly annoyed at us interrupting him.

“Stop being a bully, it’s just mean” Alex says quite matter-o-factly.

“What you going to do about it? You just little girls” He said laughing with his mates.

“This” I said and walked over to the nearest teacher and told him exactly what had been happening. He turned around and frowned at the lads who had cornered the small boy. He walked over and said

“Come with me to the head masters office, you should know better.” He started to walk away with the boy on his heels, shoulders slumped.

The smaller boy looked as us and smiled

“Thanks” he said with a big smile “I’m Harry”

“We are Alex and April” Alex said pointing to herself then me.

“Ok, bye” he said smiling then running away.

We thought nothing of it and carried on to our music lessons.

End of flashback

That is just one of the many things that helped our bond become so strong with this boy. We saw him around school on his own so we would always hang around and soon we became inseparable, thick as thieves. We would spend nights at each other’s homes and spend every minute we could catching up with him.  As we grew up we started to change but nothing compared to Harry. He became a strong well built lad that all the girls were interested in where as Alex and I stayed reasonably similar to our old selves. We were envied from our piers. Harry soon became the most popular guy in the school but being the loyal friend he was he never left our sides. The older we got the less sleepovers we would have as our parents were worried about what we might do, but we never saw Harry as the boy friend type only as a brother. As time passed Harry found a love of singing, a big one so we pushed him to go onto the X-Factor. He eventually agreed and we supported him the whole way. Little did we know that, that one show would change all of our lives forever.
