❛ EFFIE DID NOT BELIEVE IN A WARM CHRISTMAS. She was trapped; encased in the walls painted with lies and insincerity as it confined her like a malevolent, vicious animal. The overwhelming and constant feeding of lies that had a pernicious influence on her as soon her own thoughts and actions wasn't hers anymore. ANY SIGN OF WARMTH BURRIED DEEP WITHIN HER HEART, stashed like nonsensical miscellaneous inconsequential and frivolous things, they were discarded and soon enough the numbness took over and swallowed her whole as all she could see was from another person's eye when she realized that she was in the passenger seat of her own life. BUT THEN THERE WAS FRED WEASLEY, who had the audacity to appear and disappear and then reappear once again, playing with her feelings as if he got her all wrapped around his finger and with a whimsical laugh, asked her to go to have a Weasley Christmas with her, and unbeknownst to her that he will do anything to let her witness a warm christmas. ❜
