Sometimes I think I've finally forgotten you,
But then today
Facebook reminded me
Of a time we were together.
Of a time I smiled
Smiled to hide
Smiled to make them go away
Smiled so they wouldn't know
So I wouldn't know
I didn't want to know
I could not acknowledge
My heart
My mind
Falling in on themselves
Playing pretend so they're happy
Pretend so hard that I believe I'm happy
I'm happy
