Part 2: The Description:

Wattpad states to be brief, only use 100 words. Keep your plot twists & spoilers well hidden away from your description. You should also include the main genre of your story. What's really important is that you lay out the basic outline of the story you are writing, without sharing everything about it.

Maybe add a quote from the story. If you do this, sometimes the reader wants to read the story. Especially if you chose a quote that hits the emotions or is essential to a character.

Be distinct about your book. What makes it unique? Why is it different? It is also useful to put warnings of any topic that could trigger a reader or make a reader uncomfortable with your story. Wattpad likes to include a logline. A logline is a quick summary of the who, what, where, & why of your story. A tagline is also useful. Just picture your book as a movie. What is a quote you want people to remember the most?

Honestly, the hard part is getting your story noticed. So take my advice: just sit back, relax, & wait. When the time comes, someone will notice your story & the reward will slowly come trickling in.
