"Joon, I heard that one of the Pearl Tiger's boys is going to be out by the lot later. Heard he's trying to get some sort of information from Tyrant's gang. I think if I can get him and get some sort of shit on The Tiger it would do some good." Yoongi paced around the living room, trying to come up with his next plan.

Namjoon looked up from his newspaper, peering at Yoongi over his glasses, "Kidnapping? Isn't that more of Eden's territory?"

Yoongi threw his hands up in the air, "Fuck if I care! I'm over all that signature murdering. I just need to kill the guy. I don't like how long it's taken me to get this far and I'm still nowhere. My employers are starting to get antsy. Serves them right too! A simple job should only take a few months at most! Not three fuckin years!"

Namjoon closes the newspaper and sets it to the side, "Don't be too rough on yourself. This isn't an easy job. We are talking about THE Pearl Tiger. Boss of the biggest gang in the nation. The man has security and it's not like he even needs it."

Yoongi frowns, "Still Joon. Three years?! It's driving me crazy!"

Three years ago

"Yoongi, some guy by the name of Frankie Gorilla called today, something about a job." Namjoon was sitting in the living room, newspaper unopen on his lap as he told Yoongi the good news.

Yoongi sighed dramatically as he plopped down on the couch, blood still on his shoes, "God, who knew being a hitman was going to be so rough. I had to chase this fuckin guy down a pier and then he jumped in the ocean. So naturally, I had to fuckin go in after him. We eventually made it on land again and he kept running. Like I know I'm trying to kill you, but could you please stop so I can take a damn breath? I eventually got h-"

Namjoon interrupts, "Did you hear what I said? Frankie Gorilla wants you to do a job for him."

Yoongi sighs, "What's the details?"

Namjoon shrugs, "Wouldn't tell me. Just said that if you're interested to meet him at 2946 Second Street and that the job pays well."

Yoongi takes a deep breath, "How well?"

Namjoon shrugs, "I don't know, the Gorillas are pretty damn wealthy though so if he thought it was a decent amount, probably a lot."

Yoongi groans, "What time?"

Namjoon opens the paper, "Nine o'clock sharp is what he said."

Yoongi looks at his watch, "Fuck that's 30 minutes from now! It's a 20-minute walk!" Yoongi stands and grumbles as he gets his coat from where he had thrown it, "I hate this fucking job."

Yoongi got to 2946 Second Street with two minutes to spare. He stood outside the door and then at nine he knocked on it. There was some shuffling and then a deep voice came from the other side, "Who is it?"

Yoongi stood in front of the door where the peephole would see him well, "Agust D. You left a message with my partner about a job."

There was a bit more shuffling before Yoongi was welcome in.

If there was one thing The Gorillas were known for their aesthetic. They did the whole gang thing classically. They were tall men with dark gelled hair and leather jackets to match. They all looked intimidating but nothing Yoongi hadn't seen before. If anything, Yoongi thought their little shtick was a bit cheesy.

The man that let him in led him to a room near the back of the building that was relatively large and dimly lit. Yoongi stands in front of a large brown desk and behind the desk, there is a chair turned around.

The man sitting in the chair lifts his hand and at the signal everyone in the room left, leaving Yoongi standing in the middle of the room.

Once the door is closed Yoongi huffs out a chuckle, "Cut the theatrics, Frankie. What's the job?"
