Satania looked out the window, as Swissair flight 1872 took off from the coast of Florida bound for Australia. She could smell expensive perfume, and very foul body odor. I don't pity whoever that person sits beside, she thought happily. She'd been around most countries, but that was only for job purposes, being a firefighter an all. She could hear people chatting and carrying on around her. Somewhere near the front of First-Class, a baby was crying. It didn't bother her any, she was used to ignoring things like her ex-boyfriend who just couldn't take a hint on when to get lost. She gave a small shake of her head to shake away the memories of him.
"Excuse me, miss, do you need anything?" a voice interrupted her thoughts. She looked up at a female flight attendant, who by the look of her was just out of college.
"Pardon me?" Satania asked.
"Do you need anything? Water? Something to eat, perhaps", the flight attendant explained politely.
"Oh!" Satania said, slightly embarrassed. "No, but thank you anyways".
The flight attendant smiled and moved on with her cart up the aisle, asking anyone if they needed anything.
Satania looked out the window, just as the sunlight disappeared. She could see a gray fog moving with a slightly greenish tinge. Was fog like that normal? She wondered. The thought barely crossed her mind, when a flash of lightning lit up outside. The next second, red flames spewed from the engine. The plane started to rock violently. People gasped and screamed as the shaking got worse. Another flash of lightning. Another engine on fire.
What the hell is going on?! She thought frantically as people screamed. The flight attendant who had asked her about refreshments was thrown to the floor as the plane started a plunge towards the ground.
Satania grabbed hold of her seat as the plane continued its steep dive towards the ground. A man flashed past her as he was thrown clear of his seat and down the aisle towards the cockpit. A sickening snap of bone echoed back towards her. Oh, god! She thought horrified.
She looked out her window, hoping, praying that a mountain or river valley wasn't in view. She saw something worse. The ocean.
The screaming seemed to dull, as the water got closer and closer, but then something weird happened. Tree tops became visible as the plane ripped through the branches, the wings sliced through the trees like paper.
Each jolt made her situation even more real than the next. How many people would survive and how many would die?
She risked one more glance outside and her eyes widened at what she saw. A cat like pupil was staring at her. She grabbed hold of the shaking window cover and slammed it closed.
Taking in deep breathes; she opened it again and saw nothing. What the hell? She thought as the plane gave a huge jolt and she was thrown to her feet. Getting up, she held on to the seat for dear life.
A massive gust of air blew her hair around; she glanced back and realized the back half of the plane was gone. Wind whistled causing her head to hurt.
The plane slammed to a stop and she was thrown towards the front. She gritted her teeth in pain as her back hit the metal cockpit door. The last thing she saw was a suitcase flying towards her, thinking. Aw, shit!

Satania blurrily opened her eyes, before sitting up, groaning. Did someone see the other driver? She thought. She felt her hand slide in something wet, before she looked down. A scream caught in her throat. Her hand was on a man's neck, which was covered in blood. His eyes were staring past her. She scrambled to her feet, tripping. This time a scream did escape her throat. She'd tripped over the body of a woman. The woman's body was impaled on a twisted piece of metal that was pointed up from the floor.
