Part 24

Things became calmer after that incident. We still played the games, but only occasionally instead of having it be our thing every month. We paid more attention to each other, especially our youngest Kangmin, and although we never had any more incidences where one of us got possessed... I did notice Kangmin had acted a bit strange one time... 

When we had left the house it was as dark as it had been the first time we played in that place.

"Our parents are gonna be worried sick about us, let's go quickly."

"Yea, I'm gonna have to come up with an excuse to why that is."

"It's ok we can just blame it on Hoyoung."

"Hahaha great idea Yongseung!"

"Hey! Not cool, if anything blame it on Dongheon."

"Why me?

"Because.... You're the one who-" While my friends continued to bicker I turned to Kangmin who was walking behind us.
"Ha, look at them, they're such idiots right. Kangmin?" Kangmin had stopped walking and looked at me with a smirk on his face. It was strange, the way that sent shivers up my spine and made me have goosebumps. It reminded me of the ghost Kangmin we had encountered. Kangmin stepped back and was hidden by the shadows.
"Uhh- guys...!" I squealed as Kangmin returned and looked at me confused. The rest of my friends stopped walking and looked back.

"What's wrong?"

"N-nothing... I just- nvm."

"Let's go Minchan, we're being left behind." Kangmin smirked at me again and continued walking in front. I know I could just be paranoid and exaggerating but thankfully that has been the only other time I was reminded of that terrifying creature that could have killed me with one touch, in the image of my best friend. Other than this, Kangmin's been acting like his regular self and things seem to have gone back to the way they were... For now.

AN: This took forever to finish and I can't thank you guys enough for sticking with me till I did get it done. This was my first time trying out the genre of horror so it may not be my best work but overall it was actually very fun to write! Verivery are having another comeback, and I can't wait to see what else they throw out there. If the storyline they had going on continues then I might do a continuation of this if they really inspire me but either way Stan Verivery! This could not have been done without them!
