*Stasia's Pov*Chapter 2
All I was doing was minding my own business, when I heard the shouts.Hunters...again.I whistled for my soul partner,my best friend.My snake.He came flying out of a tree,which he loves doing.I caught him,and wrapped him around my neck,and he began to hiss in the direction of the hunters.I stroked him,and closed my eyes.I whispered "Be a wolf."I felt my bones crack into a wolf shape.In one second I was a beautiful black wolf with white stripes.My snake,Smoki,wrapped tighter around my neck.I ran forward,and accelerated.I was running through the forest,when I heard a howl.I immediately stopped.I turned back into my human form.Smoki wrapped around my arm.I walked out and there she was.The other hybrid in the area,Nikki.I stepped into the light.She transformed back and said,her voice dripping with venom,"What are you doing here Stasia?You know these aren't your grounds."I mentally smirked and said "Oh Nikki,I'm not here to fight.I think we should join together.There are hunters trying to kill you and I.They want us dead because were mixed with vampire and werewolf.Maybe more...I don't know."I stated.
