PREVIOUSLY...

Tanjiro cried, he didn't know he went this far, tears started to fall one by one. He continued to treat Zenitsu's wounds, as he was treating his wounds, his tears couldn't stop falling. Once he was finished, he buttoned up Zenitsu's uniform once again, he looked at the boy, the boy who he truly loves. He just bullies him to get his attention, but things went a little to far. He cried and cried till he fell asleep.

Zenitsu woke up shortly, he looked around his chest and saw that his uniform was halfway buttoned up, his bruises and cuts were treated and his head has a bandage on it. He looked to his right, and saw a sleeping Tanjiro. He smiled at how cute he was. Despite Tanjiro bullying him, he still loves him, he just hated the way he acts like a jerk all the time.

He looked at his hand, and Tanjiro was holding it gently, tears stains were visible on his cheeks. Zenitsu smiled and lightly kissed Tanjiro's head. He ruffled Tanjiro's hair softly, by these movements, Tanjiro woke up. Zenitsu was shocked and he didn't know what  to do, instead he remained calm and looked at Tanjiro.

"Oh.. your awake already?" Tanjiro asked, he rubbed his eyes and looked at his hand, he was holding Zenitsu's hand. He smiled and held it softly so he wouldn't get hurt. "Yeah... I'm awake a-already." Zenitsu was ready to leap out of the scene and run as fast as he can. But he can't, because of the hand that was holding his. "Hey uhh... Zenitsu?" "Y-yeah?" Tanjiro hated himself for making Zenitsu fear him. But he couldn't rewind time.

"I'm sorry Zenitsu. I was being a total jerk you know? I... I didn't know I went this far. I regret all the things I did to you. I...I'm so so sorry. Please.... forgive me."

Zenitsu thought for a moment, and Tanjiro was anxious of his answer. Zenitsu heaved a heavy sigh then looked at the boy to his right.

"Well... I'm not really sure if... if I can forgive you. I mean yeah you were pretty mean to me and it might take a while for me to forgive you." Zenitsu spoke softly. Tanjiro understood every word coming out of Zenitsu's mouth. "It's okay, take your time. I will be waiting for your answer, Zenitsu."

And at that moment, Zenitsu smiled softly, he patted Tanjiro's head, while giggling to himself. "Well, we could try being friends first, what do you say?" Zenitsu asked the burgundy haired boy.

"I... I want us to be more than just... friends Zenitsu, can... can we make that happen?"

Zenitsu was shocked, he didn't expect this to happen. He wanted to scream yes, but it felt like his mouth was preventing him to speak. He looked to his left, he looked at the window and then looked to his right to where Tanjiro was sitting. He smiled.

"Ofcourse Tanjiro."
