After the hat had yelled out those words, the whole hall had gone silent. No clapping, no muttering... Nothing.

After I got up and took the hat off of my head. A few people from one of the houses started to clap. Few people then turned into a lot and then turned into the whole table. So I went over to the table and sat down.

No one spoke. Not a single word was muttered. The people at the table just kind of glanced at me before quickly directing their gaze somewhere else. I didn't really want to look at them, so I just looked down at my hands.

After a bit of awkward silence, the old guy in the front started to speak again. "Well now that the sorting is done, I just have two words to say." Gandalf-junior paused for a few seconds. (mostly likely for dramatic effect)

Before saying, "Bon Appétit"

Suddenly, thousands of plates of food appeared on the large table. Now, when I say food, I mean food. There were all sorts of food, whole chickens, salad, gravy, vegetables, really anything you could name.

Despite my usual appetite, I wasn't hungry. My last trip downstairs had left me and Annabeth repulsed at the sight of food. After going so long without food, even eating a sandwich would end up with us hurling it all out in the bathroom. So we usually only ate in very small portions.

As I just sit there, not bothering to pile food onto my plate like some of the others, I hear a few people whispering in front of me.

When I look up, I'm faced with a few girls. As they look at me, they turn their heads away, giggling and their faces a bit pink.

I just ignored it. A few Aphrodite girls would do this at camp, though I've never understood why.

A girl next to me just scoffed at this. She turned her head to look at me, "hey, name's Gabbie." She said, holding her hand out. I shook it and responded, "Percy Jackson, but you already know that." She looked at me a bit confused, "aren't you going to... Eat?" I paused at this, before responding hesitantly, "I'm just not too hungry."

With this, Gabbie started to rapidly tell me about Hogwarts. To its sport, Quidditch, (which I wouldn't be participating, ever.) the teachers- sorry, professors - and about everything else.

Looking at Gabbie, she had a very energetic aura around her. Energy practically radiated off of her. She had short, chocolate brown hair that kept getting in the way of her bright, violet eyes. Her eyes contrasted very nicely with her olive, slightly tanned skin.

While she was talking my attention was then drawn towards Nico, who, just like me before, wasn't looking too comfortable.

Gabbie must have noticed me looking at him, "is that your friend? Y'know I have a friend too in Slytherin. People think that it's weird, but I think it's good to have friends in other houses." She then started to trail off. She kind of reminded me of some of the younger, more energetic kids of camp half-blood.

For some reason I felt two eyes burning into the back of my head. As I looked back, I saw three people looking at me. A bushy haired girl, a redheaded boy and a sort of scrawny boy with unruly hair and glasses that were placed onto his face, directing people's attention to his emerald-green eyes.

As they noticed my gaze their eyes turned wide and quickly turned away. Hmm, that's weird, but I just continued to ignore the strange stares. And it wasn't like they were the only people staring at me, but they definitely were the people that caught my attention.

I turned back to Gabbie, "hey, do you know who those people are?" I asked. She looked at who I was looking at. "Oh! Them? The girl's Hermione Granger, really smart like a Ravenclaw, but she's really brave too. The redhead's Ronald Weasley, also really brave but he's not too smart like Hermione. And the last one's Harry Potter, but you already knew that." Gabbie summed up.

I looked at her confused."Y-You do know who he is, right?" I continued to just look at her. "You don't. Wow." She said, her eyes wide.

She laughed, clearly a bit nervous. "Okay, well... Harry's like... A celebrity here. He's famous everywhere. You learn about him when you're young if you're half-blooded or pure-blooded. I mean, when you get into Hogwarts even the muggle-borns know about him. Well he's famous for being the boy who lived." Her voice then got a lot more quieter, and she got closer to me."He's famous for being the boy who survived the killing curse from... You-Know-Who."

I kind of wanted to say that I didn't know. But I did. It was ol' mista-kill-ya-parents, Lord Voldemort.

Oh yeah, Hecate already told me this story... Guess I should focus more when a Goddess is talking to me. Sorry, the ADHD makes it hard.

I tried my very hardest to remember what Hecate had told me after I agreed.

'The boy who lived, he is going to need protecting. Both from the ministry and Voldemort. Do not fail me, Perseus Achilles Jackson, for the fate of the entire wizarding world rests in your hands.'

Wow. That sure isn't at all putting pressure onto me.

Whelp. Just gotta make sure Harry Potter doesn't die. How hard could it be?
