chapter 3

Katrina wipes the kitchen bench down after a couple more drinks then smiles at me "you okay?" she asks, i snap back into reality "oh um" i say stuttering a little "yeah im fine" I Grab my phone and walk outside to the balcony, i open the close the door, going to sit down on the chair, "oh my god!" i almost fall  but he catches me "well thankyou Sam" i say still in his arms, he smiles and shrugs "i am worth falling for, but couldn't let you crash down" i laugh at what he said, making him laugh aswell, i smile and so does he "Elle are you oka-" katrina bursts through the door catching me off guard getting ready to catch myself as Sam would of been scared aswell, yet he stayed perfectly still "oh my god" she says looking at us, i quickly stand up straightening my shirt "it's not what it looks like kat-" she shakes her head and smiles "it looks like you two were about to kiss!!!" she squeals, I hear sam laugh behind me so I do aswell "no katrina, she walked out here and didn't know I was sitting there, she got frightened and almost fell on her face, but i caught her" Sam replies, i look back at him and his blue eyes sparkled in the light, i looked more closely and see a yellowy-gold ring around his pupil, I looked more closely to see if I was seeing things, yet it stayed that colour "um earth to Elle!" katrina says patting my arm i look at her and blink a couple times "huh yeah" i say clearing my throat, i hear sam laugh behind me and i roll my eyes "im going to bed, goodnight" i say walking past katrina into the lounge room, Colby and I make eye contact for a split second but I look away shaking my head and walk up the stairs to my bedroom, before I could open it i felt a hand on mine when I went to turn the handle, I look back and see Sam "are you okay?" he asks, i could see in his eyes that he actually cared, i nod "yeah, im fine" i say smiling, he smiles aswell "i love your smile" he says leaning back into his door, i laugh and so does he "sorry to soon?" he says , I shake my head "it was nice of you to say, goodnight sam" i wave and he smiles "sleep well" i walk in and close the door behind me, leaning back on it and sigh
