As I lay there on the lush green grass, I think back to when it was once all bright and cheery with a big, yellow, blazing hot Sun, but that was all pretend, it's colour right now is what it really feels, it's what it truly is, Its true colour.
It's called the night, when everything and everyone show what they really are. The day is when people put on counterfeit personality/identity just to escape reality, just to escape their problems and the people they hate. The night has it's good and bad, depends on what you want it to be.
In the day, no one is real. Its like they have a mask on, to hide their original self. They forget their genuine existence on earth. Most are scared of rejection for their authentic being while others fear the judging eyes that surround them daily, so instead, they wear a bogus identity just to appease people or avoid their dilemma, their real life is sucked out and replaced by a fake one. "Why?" you may ask, because they think adapting to something new and unreal is better than what you already have.
At night, all and sundry bring out their pure selves, their real feelings. They rip off their invisible veil which consists of phony characters which they temporarily glue to their bodies in the broad daylight. Never conclude in what the populace chooses to display in the light of day.
It's like their actual, inner spirit comes to light in the dead of night. They realise things and feel new emotions that they've never acknowledged before, their minds are ambushed and flooded by weird unknown thoughts, images and sounds that they never thought existed. Their body feels different. They feel as soft as a prune, inside and out, they let out their cries, their shouts, their pent up anger, their bottled up emotions. They can never do this in the day because people are watching, people talk, people hear but it's just the opposite at night. Nobody is there to comfort you, nobody is there to hold you while you cry endlessly and scream your life out. They feel as free as a bird. Sometimes too free, which causes them to be free from having a life, and it all happens in the dark hours.
