Chapter eight: Forbidden

When you're back at your house, you talk to Annie about Draco.
"Sounds like a great guy." Annie
"He is but I really wish he liked my friends. He's a jerk to them and that's why I didn't like him at first but I just can't help it. I really like him." You say
"Who?" Asked your younger sister Claire
"None of your business." You say
"You never tell me anything." Claire complained.
"That's because you don't need to know everything." Said Annie.
"So. Where are we going on this trip to America?" You ask.
You and Annie were going to America for two weeks over the summer holiday.
"Okay so first is Ilvermorny. Then we go up to New York. I've been to New York twice. It's so brilliant there." She said
"You live in America for six years and you still use British terms." You say
You laugh. You go to America and have a great time. You write to Draco a lot from New York. It's beautiful there.
Letter to Draco:
Dear Draco,
How are you? I'm writing from New York! I just saw a musical on Broadway. It was amazing. I never realized that muggle things could be so interesting. I'm very excited to see you at the quidditch World Cup.

Ps, I'm coming back to Britain tomorrow so let's meet up ツ.

You sealed the envelope. And sent it. Meanwhile, Draco was exploring London looking for the place you told him to meet you.

~Time skip again~

You made it back to London. Your parents are waiting for you. Your mother is holding a letter in her hand. Annie quickly leaves the room knowing you're in trouble, "I'm going to unpack now." She said.
"Hey mum. Dad. What's going on?" You ask.
"You got a letter. From a boy named Draco." Said your dad.
"Oooh yeah. He- he's just a friend," you say awkwardly. Your head is hanging down so your parents can't see your face.
"Look, Y/n. We're not allowed to you dating it's just that, our family are practically sworn enemies with the Malfoys." Your mother explained.
