Martha and the kids are still in bed. I am eating my breakfast and the kids are all ready in the fridge. Martha comes out and gives me a kiss. She tells me the kids are getting ready for school and will be out in a few minutes. Then I remind her. She cries. Kids dont have school. Since the outbreak things have been different. She runs to the kids and reminds them. They cry.
The kids eat and go in the back yard to play. As I watch them I get my gun....seeing a walker coming at the kids. It isnt loaded. I get ammo real quick....I hear a sudden scream. I was to late. Martha shot the walker and grabbed Emily in her arms and cried. Jake cried. I cried. Emily was gone. Things had changed more now.
