Aurora's Perspective

I open my eyes and wake up in a daze, the clock is ringing and I check it on my bedroom counter. It's 6am. I wish I could spend an hour snoozing but I know it's Monday and I have school. I hit my clock and pick up my phone laying next to it and tap it awake. My Twitter blew up. Ugh, I roll my eyes. I cannot stand the people on Twitter. I throw my phone on my bed and get up to change. I take a good look at myself in the mirror next to my closet. Omg, I look so horrible and bloated. My eyes look sunken and my hair is a mess. I literally look like a corpse. I'm such a mess right now. I should go take a shower. I get some clean clothes and head there.

I open my bedroom door and see my younger brother down the hallway in the kitchen. He has his arms on the kitchen table and a bowl of cereal in one hand. He probably poured the milk in first. Yuck! He finally notices me looking over at him and he frowns. I frown back. He sticks his tongue and I do the same. Then he pulls a middle finger on me and I counter him at that. I hold up two middle fingers. I head quickly to the bathroom and close the door behind me before he can shout something snarky. Wait a minute. I could use my phone in the shower, it's water resistant. I dash out and my bro shouts something at me as I head my room again. "Stupid head!"

I'm in the shower now, checking my phone. Just a bunch of Twitter rants and whatnot. I also get a few messages from my best friend asking to hang out after school. I think: Dude, I just woke up I dunno yet. But I text him back "sure" with a smiley cat emoji face. After I'm done showering and changing, I start heading out to the kitchen, but not without a quick look in the bathroom mirror. My eyes doesn't look that much sunken in to my skull, and my hair is getting back to its wavy state. I think about putting my hair into a bun today but nah, I like wearing my hair down.

I'm in the kitchen now and my brother is still there. He isn't done with his cereal so it became a gross soggy mess just like him. And I tell him that. He rolls his eyes. I make myself a bowl of cereal too, putting the cereal first, then the milk since I'm a decent human being. I sit down across from him. He glares at me and I glare back while eating my cereal.

"Why do you dress so gay?" He remarks.

"Uh, I sorta am?" I remark back.

I hear someone unlocking our front door and me and my brother both get up to glance outside the window. It's our mom. "Where were you?" I ask her while she's walking in the front door. She is all dressed up, blonde curly big hair, pink blush, pink lipstick, pink, earrings, pink dress, pink purse and pink high heels. My mom is such a bimbo.

"Where the hell do you think?" says my dumb brother.

"Partying." My mom answers while taking off her high heels, she slides into her fluffy pink slippers. "Where is your father?" She asks.

My brother rolls his eyebrows again. "In your guys' room still passed out drunk or recovering from a mega hangover, probably," he says.

"Do not talk about your father like that!" My mom shouts as she heads to their room.

"You know it's true," my brother murmured.

He turns his head and looks towards the direction of our mom and shouts, "Also mom!?"

"Yes honey!?" She shouts back.

"Can you tell Aurora to stop being so gay all the time!?"

"What!? Honey, it is perfectly normal for your sister to be like that."

"K."

"Actually I'm bisexual, you uneducated pleb," I throw back at my dumb brother, "that means both, I could snatch even your nerdy e-sport boy friends."

"ALSO!" I start yelling- loud enough for our mom to hear, "AT LEAST I CAME OUT! UNLIKE PATRICK OVER HERE. AN ACTUAL MEGA GAY STILL IN THE CLOSET!!!"

Me and brother then start throwing hands.
