"Azria!", a skinny boy with choppy brown hair, tan skin, and mesmerizing green eyes called. He was chasing his, one and only, friend.
The boy ran after her clumsily. He would bump into several people whom would scream at him calling him a filthy street rat. Once upon a time, the words stung him but he now knows better. But ever since he befriended her he has become stronger and more confident. He wouldn't pay mind to what the merchants on the street would say to him. Instead he only valued the opinion of his friend and the great king, King Akbar Ali.
He loved the king, and the king loved him as if he was his own son, when in all reality he was but an orphan boy. His mother was a young woman who became pregnant. The father had left her and she didn't want the burden of having a bastard son, so she gave him to a close friend, King Akbar. Akbar treated him with respect and never once made him feel any lesser than his own child, Princess Azria Amitris Elizeh Kapulco. His only friend.
Currently, Azria was running towards the castle in hurry. A maid had told her that the king held news of an outside kingdom. This excited her very much. Her father hardly ever let her stray away from the castle. Of course, she was allowed to travel among the kingdom, which is very large, but she had always heard stories about people and places beyond the kingdom.
Azria began to climb up onto a house roof when Arman realized what she intended to do. It was one of her favorite and most tiring activities: roof gliding. It wasn't an announced game nor sport but merely something that most children from there had gotten used to doing. With many streets overcrowding over with merchant sellers, buyers, and just people trying to pass, young people had invented a way to get to places faster.
Each house was built close to another one, so if you jump, the chances of landing on another building were great. This followed with tucks and rolls.
Azria was known to be the best roof jumper in The Just Kingdom. Arman, however, was not. His clumsiness often got the best of him, and it was usually Azria whom had to save him. So, you can guess that when he saw Azria go to the room he wasn't very excited.
Sighing dramatically, he climbed onto the top and started making his way to the castle.
