"Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you."
'Friedrich Nietzsche'

(Evan's POV)
"Oh, Evan baby it's been so long!" I thought I would never have to hear that voice again. I put on my award winning smile, "Emma, how've you been?" I'm mentally face palming right now for even coming here. "I'm fabulous, but I see you've been drinking again." "That's what bars are for babe." "It's been 2 years, yet you're still the same." "You should know better than anyone I hate change." "You should know I hate you." "All the same babe." "You disgust me!", she said as she stormed away. Damn, that girl still knows just how to piss me off. I don't even know why I dated her for so long; she such a bitch. Maybe I was alone for so long that it felt good to have someone. That someone just happened to be Emma. I like to think of her as queen bitch. She always get what she wants when she wants it. I'm just glad she doesn't want me anymore.
(Wren's POV)
It's 3AM. The sky is starless. I am now 18. This place is no longer my home. I feel no remorse for leaving my family, they never really were good to me anyway. They'll probably even celebrate. I open my window and grab the bag I packed off the floor. I've also got my savings with me. Now all I have to do is... 1..2..3...JUMP! Just like that I'm on my way to freedom. I already called a cab and now I'm off to the airport and getting the hell out of this god forsaken town. Goodbye mother, father, and good luck rotting in hell.
