"jisung," one of the boys at the table sternly calls, the younger looks up with slightly shaken eyes as the tone catches his attention. it was only lunchtime, did he already do something wrong? chenle wasn't even with him with to mess around. he realizes it was jaemin who initiated the conversation, he's staring at jisung with a gaze that made the boy receive unsettling vibes. "-when are you doing it?" he finally finishes his sentence, relief flows throughout jisung's body as he loosens the grip on his utensil.

"wait," he thinks for a split second, the younger boy adjusts his glasses and looks around the café before leaning forward to slightly become closer jaemin. he replies, "...do what?"

jaemin lets out a loud groan, mentally facepalming as he couldn't believe what jisung just said. "you really forgot? I can't believe you." but before he can say more, a tray is placed on the table and a familiar face pulls out a chair from another table to join theirs.

"he forgot, seriously?" jeno questions, he himself even knew what the two were discussing before they could get into depth.

"no, what are you guys talking about?" jisung questions as he was genuinely confused, he tried to retrace his words believing that this action was promised a couple of days ago. but still, he had nothing pop into his head, "was there something I missed? wait, are we doing secret santa! did I forget to buy someone their gift?"

"no jisung, you promised at the beginning of the year," jisung reminds, eyes widening slightly as jeno nods his head beside him. "remember..you vowing that you'd confess to chenle before the year ended. or more of, you'd confess to him during christmas because you believe that would be the greatest gift of all time."

jisung drops the fork that was previously in his hand, lips slightly parted as his eyes wide to join the reaction that he presented to the two boys. oh gosh, how could he forget? all of his closest friends, except for chenle of course knew about his promise. he was being expected to pour his feelings out to his best friend before the year ended. how could he forget! "oh..oh god!" his hands shoot up to where they crawl into his brunette locks realizing that the year was ending way soon, meaning he had little time to plan his confession.

"you had a whole year jisung! a whole year." jaemin starts off, "but, you got nothing up your sleeve?"

"I'll sleeveless right now!" as he shows his exposed arms, "gosh, I totally forgot about that.." jisung mentally slaps himself as christmas was just around the corner, he was sitting in a café relaxing believing he had no worries. but, he was totally wrong. "I was planning on doing it, I promise! but, I'm just unsure of how I should do it..what if he hates it or thinks I'm gross.."

jaemin lifts a brow and sighs as he listens to jisung's panic, "you guys are attached to the hip, he won't hate you but I don't know if you're in denial or stupid but I'm sure chenle feels the same way. he just doesn't know how to say it."

jisung shakes his head, "chenle would never like me, I doubt it." jisung furrows his eyebrows to where they angle down, his thinking face is now in action and all he can do is zone out. "yeah, no way. it's not possible, I mean it is, but, it's not."

"jisung you have an odd way of thinking." jeno comments, taking a sip of his drink right after, "you can't assume chenle is not into you, you haven't even confessed yet. once you confess and he gives you an answer, then you can state facts."

"what if he never gives me an answer!" jisung says, worrying about all the possibilities that are listing in his head, "what if! what if he's into one of you two!"

"I doubt it." jaemin says, "it is much more believable to picture that he's in love with you. ask anyone, I'm sure they'll say yes."

"as if" the youngest of the three crosses his arms and shakes his head with much passion, he was more than positive that his assumption was incorrect. "donghyuck hyung, do you see chenle and I dating?"
