.Chapter 5

Short chapter :( Im sorry! Next one will be longer I promise! enjoy ;)

Thursday 3:25 p.m. School just ended a couple of minuets ago. Tonight we have a basketball game I really don't want to go to. I love cheering but sometimes it just wears me out. Usually before every basketball game me and my friend Destinee are getting drinks at Sonic and watching scary movies at my house. So here we are right after school on our way to Sonic. As we pull into the drive through there are a few cars waiting in line. " So you know I work at Wings right? Well there is this really cute guy there that I like" I say as we pull up behind the last car. "Awe really is he cute? I wanna see a picture of him" she says. "Yes he is but I don't have a picture of him. I don't have like his social media or anything" I say a little disappointed.

 I wanted to show her but at the same time I was relieved I didn't have a picture of him because I didn't want her to say he's ugly. You know that feeling when you are ready to show your friend what your new boo looks like but you start going through the pictures trying to find a cute one because now you might be thinking he's not that cute. Well thats me. And I didn't want to feel like he's not cute because he's damn sexy to me right now and I don't want to ruin that. "Damn. Well tell me about him" she says. "Well he is super cute and he's kinda like the manager" I say. "Oh okay thats cool" she says. Should I tell her about his baby mama?

The line moves up so I pull up a little. "Yeah he's really nice and I like him a lot there is just one little problem" I laugh nervously. "What" she says with the look I knew she would have on her face. The "Oh no what is it" type face. "He has a baby on the way" I blurt out. "Damn Mia he has a baby mama. Is he still like with her" she asks. "No no they aren't together anymore". "Oh okay. Well thats good. I mean if he's not with her and he's cute" she says. " Yeah but he still lives with her" I say a little hesitant. The line moves up and I order our two drinks. " What the fuck? Mia. He's definitely dating her. He's lying" she says with a little sympathy. "I mean she's only living with him cause her parents don't approve and they kicked her out. She's got no where to go and thats his baby mama. I don't think its really like that" I say. I mean I heard him tell her cousins. If they were together they would say something. She just needs a place to stay. " I don't know Mia" she says with an unsure tone.

"I mean even her cousins said that she was a little possessive and he told them that they were really over right in front of me" I say trying to convince her. " I know but if they are living together something is obviously going to happen. Like if they're in the same room. Come on" she says. I know she's just looking out for me but I just don't see it. I know that it sounds crazy but just the way he's explained things and me over hearing their conversation I believe its true. We pay for our drinks and head to the house. "Just be careful, he could be lying" she says. "I know". 

Its not like we were in a relationship. As much as Id like that he probably will get back with his girlfriend. All of this is just a crush. I doubt it would turn into anything more. Im sure there is no reason for her to worry.
