Dark Sided (Drew Phillips x Reader)

Moving Day

The hours long flight you took didn't even phase your excitement one bit. You walked out into the parking lot of the airport where Drew said he would be waiting. You didn't see him so you sent him a text.

Hey Drew, it's y/n. I'm at the airport and I can't seem to find you?

After about ten more minutes of waiting you finally got a text back.

Oh sorry yeah I can't make it, just call an Uber and I'll pay you back later :)

You were a bit disappointed at this turn of events, but you remained positive knowing that you were not only about to meet but actually move in with all of your favorite youtubers.

You knocked on the apartment door. After about thirty seconds of waiting, the door swung open and you were immediately met with a camera in your face.

"Haha they're here! What's up y/n welcome to the friend group!" Drew said peeking around the camera.

"Um.. hi?" You said caught of guard.

Drew immediately pointed the camera down. "Okay I know you're new to this but that was literally dead. Give it more energy you're greeting the vlog."

You repeated your greeting as energetically as you could without seeming too disingenuous.

"Alright I guess that will have to do." Drew huffed as he sat his camera on the kitchen counter. A few seconds of silence passed before Drew broke it saying, "Okay um... I guess I should introduce you to everyone and show you around." He turned and yelled for everyone to come to the kitchen.

"What is Drew yelling about oh my god shut up!" You heard Enya shout from another room. 

"I think y/n is here." You heard who you assumed to be Josh reply.

"Jesus Christ can you guys just get in here already?" Drew yelled with an obvious tinge of annoyance.

Enya, Josh, Christian, and Josiah all filed into the room. You smiled a big goofy grin. It was so cool to see them all in person like that!

"Hi I'm y/n!" You said.

"Hey y/n!" Christian said energetically, with what seemed to be the first genuine smile you'd seen since you got there.

"Nice to meet you y/n." Josh said, shaking your hand.

"Hey." Was all Enya said with what you could only assume was an attempt at a smile and a small wave.

"So you're gonna be living with us now?" Josiah said, skipping the greeting altogether.

"Duh Josiah they won the contest." Drew replied for you. 

"Whatever." Was all Josiah said as he left the room. Enya gave another small wave left along with Josh. 

"Hey don't worry about them they're just a little cranky." Christian said, noticing your demeanor. "Everyone is stoked to have you here!" He patted you on the back before leaving the room as well.

Drew showed you to the room you would be staying in. After throwing down all of your bags and closing the door, you thought about how disappointing the day had been. You were so excited to meet all of your favorite youtubers, but they were nothing like you thought they would be. You could only hope that Christian was right and that everyone really was just cranky.
