When I created Kaitlyn's character back in 2017 I had no clue what she looked like, I just knew that she was a sweet nurse who genuinely cares about the kids in the home. As I put more thought into who I wanted her to be I knew that I wanted her hair to be a contradiction to her calm personality, hence I decided on the unruly red hair. The rest of her features seemed to follow suit as I continued to add colour to her.
